Good job looking out for the citizens of Bell County. You do such a wonderful job on those driveways, and they sure make our community look better. You've also saved us money by having those fire stations closed and keeping those evil fire fighters from getting any of our money to waste on bills and equipment. I feel it's so much better to spend it on lawyers and fees and so forth because I don't need anyone to save my home or my family from a blazing inferno. By the way, I also love the new sheriffs car I've been seeing! It makes our town look so futuristic! Also, those sticks you have in the ground on Page Cuttoff keep me from plunging to my death every time I drive on that road. Oh! I'm glad you're not wasting any money on fixing the sinking roads either because no one can see them anyway, just a few people that don't matter. And the other roads that still haven't even been done yet that were voted in are a waste of time, too. No one needs a road to drive on anyway, we all have four-wheelers to ride to the new industrial park, I mean, off road trail. I'm also so glad you don't sit in your office all day and waste electricity. Your road department crew does a good job at not wasting gas, too, by just staying in and playing cards. Although I do like it when I see them clearing brush from my neighbors yards, though, because it was such a hideous site! I also think it's brilliant you have the monthly meetings at 10am so the room won't be packed with bothersome people. Besides, your day ends at noon most days anyhow, and you need your beauty rest for when the Daily News takes your picture for their paper.
Must be nice not to have a clue about your "facts". Must be nice to have a perfect world where what you say becomes reality when in fact it's more garbage spewed by the fans of the BCVFD. Must be nice to never show up at a meeting when you clearly have the time to post on topix from your hustle and bustle job that obviously doesn't care what it's employees do on company time. Must be nice to hide behind Attorney Hayden with vague answers and even more vague charges that people in the county have to foot the vill for. The BCVFD is a group of individuals that took a somewhat respectable fire deparment and flushed it completely down the drain. The day will come when the people you have screwed over will no longer accept your line of bull, just sayin'.

It's hard for me to blame Albey for this entire mess since he's probably taking advice from Neil the whole time. Buck still stops with Albey, and he's hurting the county big time with his personal fight against the firefighters, but someone needs to tonguelash Neil for his legal advice and sue first mentality he's been giving to Albey. People forget that Albey never would've taken over the BCVFD illegally in 2007 if Neil hadn't told him it was ok. Big egg on face. But ENOUGH of this guys!! You're both up for re-election in '14 so either patch things up with the BCVFD and get those stations reopened now or at least stop collecting that insurance premium tax from all of us. Pick one. I'd rather have the patch up but just get to a solution before we provide our own in 2 years that involves both of you not having county jobs anymore.

This rigging the tourism board sounds like another shyster deal. That hasn't gone unnoticed. Neither has the fact there is no sign of this fancy hotel. So where is the money? That's really what that was all about, wasn't it?

You can get an order for records as a criminal defense. And hiding exculpatory evidence could lead to a malicious prosecution claim. Just a thought. That other thing kinda points to the old man so knock yourself out.

Can we file a class-action against all concerned? We got no leadership.

Must be nice to be so high up on Albey's totem pole that you think us "pee on's" can't afford our own PC (that stands for personal computer). Don't know who Jackson is, but this chick ain't no man. Get over yourself and come back with something real for this debate... oh wait, that's why you don't because you don't have anything real. How about we get this town a leader? Albey sounds just like Obama. He hasn't done a thing except make a mess, and wants more time to make things right. I know that [again] I'm not going to vote for him if I have to be the only person to write a name in. He has done nothing but belittle me and those in my neighborhood, and I don't see any significant or positive changes coming from him for this county. I want someone in there who will work for the good of this community. I want a qualified individual who knows how to be a JE, and knows how things are to be done, and doesn't need someone else to tell them how to do their job. He should know his stuff, especially by now. Most importantly, I want someone who does their job instead of settling personal vendettas and having popularity contests. Say what you want, but I see through him and he is so bad for this community. You don't know how he treats people like us behind the scenes. If I had a popular name here, or lived beside a major highway, he'd already done what needs to be done [and is suppose to do under the law]. You need to open your eyes and drive around on these back road areas and look at the conditions they are in because of his arrogance. You need to know about all the jobs we have lost up on Mt Drive because of his ignorance. You need to see the favors that are being handed out on your dime for votes. You need to see that he plays games with you and the rest of this community. I will stand by what I know until Albey shows me and the rest of this area some humanity, even if it means standing alone. ABA 2012! Anybody But Albey!

Furthermore, I'll admit that at first I was shocked and outraged when Albey took over the BCVFD. But now that I look back on it, have kept up with both sides of the issue, talked with members of the BCVFD and others outside the entity, stayed neutral instead of taking Albey's word, and so forth, I see now that all that was a stunt for political spin and popularity.

Out of all the big ideas we were supposed to be impressed with, have any actually turned out the way we were told? Whenever anyone asks about the power plant, the hotel, whatever, its always trying, trying, trying. Most jobs I know of usually require you to get something done eventually. Going on seven years of trying now. I heard Rob got a promotion to junior assistant trier. So its all gonna pay off any day now.

So does this mean since they own everything and the taxpayers don't, we get all our money back from the fd that the taxpayer has paid over the years? "The judge ruled the BCVFD fire stations and property belong to the fire department — not to the taxpayers of Bell County." Isn't that like getting money under false pretense? And since they say they are a private entity, they shouldn't of ever gotten the taxpayers money? Use the taxpayer money and rebuild the fire stations for the CITIZENS of Bell County. Wouldn't they also own back taxes to the state and federal, using taxpayers money from the county instead of raising it like other private companies? The Fire Dept. cut their nose off in-spite of the their face. It turns out that they were looking out for themselves and NOT THE PEOPLE OF BELL COUNTY.I have lost respect for those that ran the fire dept into the ground and Albey - LET'S REBUILD OUR FIRE DEPARTMENTS FOR THE PEOPLE.

Yeah, right after fiscal court gives us 30 years of tax money back. Then we could fund the schools better.

I think the fiscal court and the BCVFD owes the taxpayers some money back, both have been operating under false pretenses it would seem.

The fiscal court has a fire tax to provide fire protection yet huge swaths of the county have none.

The BCVFD graciously accepted taxpayer money under the auspices of providing fire protection for the whole county and then reneged and started closing stations.

To both as a taxpayer I say "WHERE IS OUR MONEY?"

Evidently, our "leadership" doesn't even owe us an explanation. We need some term limits.

I think it's time the Fed's come in and investigate BOTH sides of the issue. Albey is not holding up his side by not having fire protection for the area's without it and the BCVFD is guilty of hijacking taxpayer property (don't give a shit what that obama appointed retart judge says) and trying to sell it to pay a shyster lawyer to keep up this ridiculous game. The state needs to remove all those in charge of the VFD and replace them with actually true firefighters and find out where the fire tax money we pay on our homeowners insurance bill is.
