I was not saying that. Just saying our towns need the boost. No one can control that amount of ppl. No amount of money is worth a life. I was only saying ppl act so dumb downing the Holler Crawlers for trying to bring something for us to do.
who planned the event and actually made the money

I have no ax to grind against the county or the Holler Crawlers, but as posted on another thread, an event like this needs about 10 times more staff, and better organization. All the holler crawlers did was try to get as many ATVs and people in one place at one time as possible. Add darkness, alchohol, testosterone, under age drivers and.......well, you get the picture. A recipe for disaster.

Instead of arguing and placing blame on everyone why don't you people start saying prayers for the families. That's all I have to say.

Here something to think about, there is a least 2 or 3 accidents on the atv park evry wkend and hve been probably 5 or 6 deaths since the park was opened, there was 50 times more people up there this wkend and they had same number of accidents, it wasn't the events fault, ridn atvs and dirt bikes is dangerous period. Heartfelt prayers and tears go out to Payne family and all the others involved

.. I have to disagree with you on this, our little town isn't ecuiped enough to handle events such as this! How many more family's will have to mourn the lose of a loved one before this is realized? I'm all for making money to expand our community. But, lets do it in a way that can be handled by the handful of police officers, firemen, emt's we have! This is just my opinion and I hope I don't offend anyone with it.

How about putting something up there with some good jobs instead of an atv park...that's a good way to boost the economy around here

Brock got rid of the fire department which was stupid it raises property insurance now.we need more money put into police protection and emt services but someone wont let go of a dime.I think people like attention and see only what they can get for themselves. This event was totally unplanned and I guarantee if we saw the people who made bank on this we might be surprised. They don't care in my opinion. These people care about their own selves and their own careers and families no matter what it cost anyone else. Some people thrive on attention but this morning we have a death on our hands and it could have been prevented!

The focus was on everything but the welfare of the people as usual. We want things in this county but do it right.I am afraid there is too many back-door money bandits who just dont care. Put a building up there with employees(and hire more than a certain politicians family) and places to park and do things right.Put ambulances on site and prepare .This was about politikin'and sneakin' cash into ones pocket.

Let me tell you fact of the matter that Bell Ems got there loaded MR. Payne up called Air Evac in but had to cancel flight because before he got to the landing zone he was gone. The area the wrecked happened was less traveled and marked red for being very diffcult. Bell Ems, recuse squad, Bell county Sheriff department, fire department and a couple members were there when Mr payne was loaded. Know your facts before speaking them. Everything was done that could be done......
