Josephina,You are right about Cole, just a disgruntled complainer. The Wave is a nice safe desirable place ,we love it but must sell our vacation home for personal reasions. We are offering a fair price and owner financing. If you are interested in seeing our two bedroom ,one and one half bath condo, contact me at artdt@aol.com
Interesting that the guy trying to unload his condo would say that this is a "great" place to live.

This Cole guy is full of it, I have been living here for years and there is nothing but peace here. I have never heard of any stolen cars, that is a flat out lie. The pool, surrounding areas, gym, parking lot, grounds, are are kept up extremely well and very clean. I am just minutes from the Beach and everything else, it's a great place to live in peace. It's on a private street with no traffic and all entrances to the building are secured with keyless magnetic cards. I am a single woman with a child, hispanic and very cautious about where my child and I feel absolutely safe here. I am currently in negotiations with my land lord to purchase the place from him. The balconies do have an issue with them but what this Cole guy held back was that only a couple of the balconies will need repairing, the other unit balconies were closed as a precaution and what he also did not tell you is that the owners will get back their $20 or $30 dollars a month back once the law suit is settled with the builder. They did not even have to impose an assesment, it's all in the maintnance charges.
If I am not mistaken this individual Cole was kicked out for not paying his rent or disturbing the peace here. If it's so bad then why did he live here for 4 years? HMMMMM, I think someone has an ax to grind. Please do not beleive what this misfit says, it's all lies or twisted around, he is not a good source of information, just a bad tenant.

Where do I begin with this idiot woman. First, I was an owner not a renter. The only reason I stayed here for so long was because my condo dropped in value $100,000 and I couldn't give the condo away. I'm no misfit or disgruntled renter. I'm a 50 year old professional with a college education. ALL of the balconies need to be replaced not just a few. There will indeed be "special assessments" sent to unit owners for thousands of dollars because the association has no money at all to pay for the repairs estimated to be over a million dollars. This is due to the fact that many, many of the units are in foreclosure and no one is paying the $360/month maintenance fees. The association is essentially broke. 1 million dollars divided by 250 units is $4000/per owner to repair the balconies. That's a low end estimate. They have been talking about suing the developer for over a year but nothing has come of it. If the developer is going to pay for part of this repair, then why hasn't that information been disclosed to anyone? If there is only a problem with a couple of the balconies, then why have the balconies been off limits for over a year? Further to the point, why have the balcony doors been screwed shut by maintence for over a year if there's only a problem with a "few" balconies?

I love this place. It's away from the traffic on the beach but 10 mins. from the beach, close to everything, Publix, CVS, etc. Downtown is 10 mins. away too. It's true there have been cars stolen but a couple were unlocked. The neighborhood isn't great but the keyless entry is secure. The pool is awesome. It's near Eckerd College so would be easy to rent a unit. Been renting for a month and it's been quiet 99% of the time.

My husband and I have been renting here for 3 months and we love it. This place is our paradise. The residents are all friendly. The area itself is okay although you travel in some not too nice areas getting here. South St Petersburg is noted for not being safe, however we are in the Pinellas Point area, which is a noted nice area of St Petersburg. 3 blocks south is a small development of million dollar homes, one of which is owned by Winky Wright a well known professional boxer.
