North of downtown is definitely ghetto. The area east of downtown to about US19 has a large latin american population between Druid rd. on the south and Sunset point to the north. The high point area near the clearwater/st pete airport is ghetto, mainly because the county jail is in that area. That leaves Belleair/parts of Largo/Safety Harbor/Countryside/ Palm Harbor/ Clearwater Beach. All nice places.

Downtown is not ghetto. In fact, it USED to be ghetto back in the 80s but the alien church and their drone workers have made it safer like it or not.

Downtown SUCKS. It is a ZOMBIE land Of scientologists. This downtown is deplorable. No other city in the USA is so sterile and lifeless....all due to this criminal religion. Also avoid Frenchys restaurants. they suck

Whoever said the close to the bay you get is absolutely right. Most areas excluding greenwood are not ghetto to me but to someone who likes the Palm Harbor style of living might not feel the same.

Sounds like Tim used to work at or date someone from Frenchy's because as anyone thats ever eaten there can tell you, Frenchy's is a fantastic restaurant. Good food, Friendly waitresses and bartenders and fun to hang at and people watch. He is correct about the Scientologists. They have ruined Clearwater and taken away alot of the TAX base. Zombified Buncha LOSERS. Too bad they dont know that you can learn any of what scientology teaches at the library without having to sign over your life and any maney you make for a billion years.

I did some more research and found a useful ghetto location map for the area:

Go to Dunedin. Clean, beautiful, and most of all safe.Good decent people live here that have pride in their homes and respect for others. Good city government that is a lttle strict on code issues etc. but looks out for all citizens. Basically, our town is truly a piece of Paradise. Oh and if you come here you best like dogs. They are a major part of our lives here. Come visit downtown and enjoy.

How come no one mentioned south clearwater aka the DMZ zone?

Hightpoint *is* ghetto but its worse now there is a tent city there. The tent city's in the area are well known brothels.

So how would those of you who talk about which areas to avoid in Clearwater as well as the rest of Florida like to visit a Fort Monroe National Park!?

The whole frriggin state is a bunch of rejects. Almost all immigrants, elderly, jiggs and convicts and rowdy loser red-neck types from up north. Move to Iowa. It's a great state! Or Idaho. Or, maybe U da ho.

you have no idea what you are talking about. The whole state of florida is beautiful and that includes clearwater. If you want a slight seasonal change try the panhandle (panama city).

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Leo

You're in a very idealistic mood today, making it almost impossible for you to view loved ones in their true colors. If they've got any faults you won't see them because you'll have blanked them out. This rosy vision of your nearest and dearest is fine if it doesn't last long but it will cause problems if it persists and you continue to brush any problems under the carpet.
