Aldi prepares for Florida debut

I am so glad there will finally be an Aldi's Store here. Even if you don't shop Aldi's, it keeps the other stores in line with prices, which is something that is badly needed in Pinellas Park, Thank you Aldi's, sincerely Pinellas Park Resident.

I moved here 10 years ago from Pa. I shopped Aldi's up there all the time. Now I am stuck with walmarts community killing stores. When is Aldi's coming to Brevard Co. so I can have the privlage of never walk into a walmart again?

Aldi has great quality and very very competitive prices. But best of all they sell european CHOCOLATES!!! They also have a pretty good wine/beer selection.

We are thrilled to learn of Aldi's coming to Palm Harbor but it would be even greater if you could open one in New Port Richey or Port Richey, Fl.
We shop Aldi's all the time in Lima, Ohio and sure miss them when we go to Florida for the winter months.

we was for 5 Weeks in St. Petersburg Sept.Okt.2008 and we are happy that Aldi can help the Amerikan People. It is new, but gooooood.

I felt like I was shopping for groceries at the flea market. Aldi may have good off brand prices but it won't supplant Walmart for variety.

On a side note, supporting Mom and Pop markets is critical to supporting America more so than either of the two chains.

I was on another blog regarding this topic in Lake Alfred (sip code 33850) it really got harsh. Alot of folks liked the store and alot of folks hates the store. We have one up here, it is ok - you can find some good deals in it. You do have to pay a deposit for your cart .25cents but when you return it to the store you get your refund. The reason for that is so that people do not live the carts on the parking lot. You need to take your own bags to put your groceries in or buy some of theirs. All in all it does save you money. I like them just fine. Remember you have to take your own bags to Sams warehouse or use their boxes to carry out your purchases. I say shop where you can save money. Times are getting harder. We need the super deals. I do not know if you all have a Savelots down there yet or not. But that is another reasonable store to shop.
