She needs to go to prison for life. Her friend knew about this and did not tell anyone, she and the father could of saved the babys life if they would of told someone.

I hope this judge realizes how many people are watching and expecting a VERY harsh sentence. NOT the whiny, typical Minnesota feel good sentence.
Slam this killer away. Do not let her out until her body is so aged it cannot any longer reproduce.
Our state does not allow sentences I think are fitting, so I guess we will have to pay for this pig to live, unless the women in prison take care of business and do the public a favor.

I met this young woman, and I believe that she was scared, confused, and very ill without the benefit of help. What an unfortunate waste of this young womans life to give her such an extraordinarily harsh sentence. And who is it that sits in judgement of Ms. Hannon, and Ms. Pipenhagen? Under the same circumstances one wonders what they might have done. Can they even relate to mental illness with all of its terrors, and hopelessness? Somehow I don't think they gave it much thought, because if they had they might be able to help this young woman, instead of helping perpetuate her personal hell. I hope that Nicole can find some peace, and solace in Shakopee. I hope that she can sing, and sing, and attend church as I know she loved to do. Also, I hope that her family can find some peace.

this baby was my first gerandchild, my first granddaughter. my son still cries to this day about this. if any of you knew the real story, if you knew nikki, if you knew her family, you would gic=ve her some passion, she should not hav egotten the sentenence that she did. she was a child, what about holding the parents responsible for minors? lets place the blame where it should be, why wasnt her mother charged witha nything when this bitch knew her daughter was pregnant and never even acknowledged it. this poor girl was terified. to this day i think she was wronglt prosecuted.

I wonder how many of you that think she should go to jail for life believe that abortion is okay. So it's okay to kill a baby right before it's born but not right after. Well now doctors can kill the baby right after it is born if it is a botched abortion... so she should have said it was a botched abortion and she won't have had to go to jail at all... oh that's right only a doctor can kill a baby after it is born...
She should have been giving mental health not life in prision!
