With Chief Ortis, Pine is in much better hands. He is honest, caring and fair. But he is tough as nails.

I would like to say to the citizens of pine prairie, yall made a very wise decision by electing Todd Ortis as your Chief of Police, I can promise you that you'll see the best Law Enforcement that Pine Prairie has ever had, Todd Ortis is a Professional Law Enforcement Officer who will enforce the Law, with Dignity honor and Professionalism, I've been knowing Todd for many many years, and I have worked side by side with him on several occasions, He's always done his job to the best of his ability. Todd loves Law Enforcement just like I do. GOOD LUCK CHIEF ORTIS AND I KNOW YOU WILL MAKE PINE PRAIRIE PROUD, we REMAIN BROTHERS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT.

I Read the Newspaper this MORNING AND SAW WHERE Chief Todd Ortis Appointed Mr.Carriere as His Assistant Chief of Police, this was a wise Choice in my Opinion, Because MR.Carriere brings many years of Law Enforcement with him to the Pine Prairie Police Dept. Good job CHIEF ORTIS. I can see where the police Dept. is Already moving in the right Direction

i think the people of pine prairie made a very good decision appointing him as there chief.....i see that he got drugs off the street...if you look back in the past you will not see that the former chief has attempted to get anything off the streets.....keep up the good work
