Someone put out a mother dog and 2 girl pups.
There ribs and hip bones were showing so i started feeding them and my mom is so mad at me because they are taking up here now.
I guess everyone expected me to look the other way and let them starve to death like they do.
Pulaski county wont take them because i am from here.
I called our animal control and they told me to take them to corbin.
Called corbin last saturday they said they would call back today but they didnt.
My mom called them and they are saying i cant bring them there until the 18th.
Does anyone know anything else i can do?
My mother doesnt want the dogs here, but i cant stand to watch them strave. Does anyone know of any other place i can take them to?

There is a few places to try on Facebook . Try Gracie's Outreach or the Pulaski County Human Society . Bless you for caring enough to save their lives . They sure didn't ask to be brought into this cruel world . Hope this helps . Please keep this post updated .

Just got back from corbin where i dropped off the dogs at the shelter.
Came real close to getting into a fist fight with the smart ass snobby B@T@H at the drop off place.
She kept saying i didnt have an appointment to drop them off but i was sitting right there when my mom made the appointment. She said it didnt matter if i had made an appointment because she didnt have it written down.
The B@T@H has bumps all over her neck and face she looked like a meth addict.
She is a piece of trash that thinks she can treat people like trash, but if i ever catch her out im going to show her she doesnt have the right to treat people that way.
The BI-polar B@T@H was very nice to the dogs, she would smart off to me then be very nice to the dogs then smart off to me then be nice to the dogs. At least they are safe now, i dont think she will be mean to them.
I cant believe how much attitude i have got because i was trying to help stray dogs out.
If i had lived in pulaski county i could have fixed this problem when it first started and wouldnt have had to almost fight a bi-polar B@T@H when i dropped them off. This is ridiculous!
It is so hard to get help for animals in mccreary county, i guess that is why most people wont go through the trouble of it

And while i was filling out the paper work a woman from whitley city came in with kittens and B@T@H had her smartass snobby attitude with her too.
The woman told her a woman had moved off and left them, so she was taking care of them til she could bring them in.
B@T@H raised her voice to her and said I WILL TAKE THEM TODAY BUT IF YOU FEED AN ANIMAL 5 DAYS YOU TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT!
I dont know if that is true, but if it is people need to call animal control right away if they see a stray and try to get them to come get it.
They made me wait over 2 weeks to bring the strays i brought in, and if that really is a law about feeding them 5 days i was responsible for them because the shelter made me wait that long.(They told my mom the vet wouldnt be in those 2 weeks so we couldnt bring them til today)

If corbin gets our tax dollars to take in our stray animals they shouldnt treat us that way when we bring animals in.
I guess the best thing to do if you see a stray is call animal control and let them take full responsibility for them
