I went to visit my dads grave Friday to find that someone had stile his flowers. Not only did they take his but my aunts as well. I think it takes a very low person to steal from the dead. If anyone has information on who is taking flowers from Upper Cal Hill Cemetary, it would be greatly appreciated.

sometimes people don't have conscous and do awful things like tear up a grave yard I don't know what this world is coming too when they dont have respect for the dead ether. God will surely punish them.

The grave yard should be a place of rest and peace. It is a shame that anyone would do this. Too bad that the dead can't haunt them.

I know someone that put their name and the florists name on the bottom of their flowers and they were stolen. They found them for sale at the flea market in Somerset still with their name on the bottom. They got their flowers back and left, I would still be prosecuting the low life who had posession of the flowers.

People need to watch their flowers for a day or two after Memorial Day, preferably with a shotgun.

Two older women in their late 60's got caught stealing flowers from a cemetery in Oneida. They should have been prosecuted but they let them go. They were stealing them and selling them at yard sales and flea markets.

It is soooo cruel to steal from someone's grave, I dread everytime I visit my mom's, I worry that someone will take her things, it will just make me hurt soooo much, as I will feel like she is being mistreated....whoever you grave robbers are...you are the among the most cruel on earth!

I so agree, I can't stand a thief. But stealing from someone's grave. That to me should carry a hard sentence. How can they close their eyes & go to sleep. We put a cast iron angel on my Mother's plot. We actually concreted it into the ground just to keep it from being stolen. It is a sad time we are living in. We as Christians need to pray & pray hard for what's happening in our world today. The more prayer, the better off as Christians we are. Faith & prayer is everything to making things happen.

If and when I find out who stole off my mother's grave, won't need no prosecutor.
