It is off of 52 in Walker Valley on your way out of town towards Ellenville. Owned by the Grau family, it was a very popular place after the war. Most of the visitors were from the "City". I lived accross the street (down and around the corner)in a one story ranch house that my father built for a Summer home and later gave to my sister as a wedding present.(She would be quick to add that she assumed the mortgage, too).
The other resort right there on the other side of 52 was Shuberts. Going out of town it really was second left (although a couple? of miles). If you took the "Red Barn Road",(basically the first left)it would take you back to 52 right below the property.
It was in disarray the last time I saw it. The pipes had frozen because of no heat and it was all but abandoned.
Family members were living in the bungalows behind the great house.
The family also owned/operated "Sam's Point" aka Look Out Mountain.
