It was rumoured that an account manager for E.F. Hutton and his newlywed wife were honeymooning in Jerome. They took a short trip over to the hot springs. Apparently, he heard something in the brush and tried to investigate.

They found his body with an adjustable wrench sticking out of his skull.

His Young wife was dicovered in the hot springs. She had been strangled and drowned.

Last I heard the killer(s) were still at large.

I live in Camp Verde. Have for the past 8 years. This DID NOT happen.
If it did, they did one hell of a great job keeping the town from knowing about it.

I was at the hot springs this week and a 70 year old man did drown at the hot springs on Wednesday March 19th. I didn't cross since water was too high for me to want to try.

We left the camp that day.

We stayed at the hot springs camp last night (March 19). we saw the rangers at the river with the body in a bag. Didn't know how old the man was though.

can anyone give me like super clear directions to the verde hot springs? i have been up a couple times but never driven myself, so im not 100% positive of myself, can anyone help me out?
