M-36 closure will devastate the area

Has anyone researched the lakeland school in hamburg as to whether it is legally located! It is my understanding the by law (state or federal?) that a public school must have at least one entrance and one exit that cannot be the same, the lakeland school is located on a dead end road which is the only access to the school. Also it is my understanding the the school has to be a certain distance from a railroad, which it is less than 300 yards from an active system.
If a train were to derail how would emergency equipment get to a school full of children! Oh, by the way if that road were closed off for some reason there is NO way to get to the kids because the whole area is surrounded by water! This leads me to why should there be a lefthand lane added to M-36 to allow the buses to enter this road to the school. This is our tax dollars that are putting the children in danger and will probably put businesses out due to the closure during the busiest part of the season in an area that is all lakes and recreational.
Go figure, just our wonderful government spending our hard earn tax dollars:
