Where were the parents while all of this was going on?
Don't they check their childs cell phone records or content?
The parents need to be more involved in thier childs life. Girls with low self esteem often times end up victims themselves....
Also NOW she needs to be counciled and guided in the right ways. Plus with all of this publicity, she needs to be reassured that she is still loved by her family and that they are there always.

Kids don't think before they do stupid things, they don't look ahead........

Hey I am a young male that goes to Pinckney Highschool. I know who she is and she jsut made a stupid mistake. It was her fault but she didnt know it was illegal. I mean people do stupid things all the time.

People also dont know all the rules. I mean She probably didnt know it was illegal and just thought it would be fun.

I went to that school and heard a lot worse things then that. the girl made a retarded decicion and i'm sure she wasn't thinking at the time. i think this is something the parents should have to deal with. if anything i think the people forwarding it with out her concent are the ones that should be getting in trouble. in addition, i think it's getting way too much media attention it's only going to cause a rising in activity of this kind. i think the whole the should just be dropped in charges and the media.

I don't know anyone involved. However, I know everyone involved will not be changed for the better by being punished by the legal system. The parents that are probably working too much will have to work even harder to pay the legal bills and the eventual fines. The children that don't love and respect themselves enough not to partake in these kinds of activities will love and respect themselves and others even less after they are singled out very publicly and branded for what they will feel is the rest of their lives. And ALLLLL the watching students that us smart adults think will be receiving a strong message regarding this kind of behavior will forget about this tomarrow because "THEY aren't stupid enough to get caught". Thats about all I have to say about that!

I'm a junior here at pinckney and I don't have much to say but if that was me in her position i don't know how i could ever come back to school. people have so much hatred against her right now, and maybe it was just a stupid choice, but she is 14 she should no better. i have done a couple stupid thing but to send nude pics throughout the school?..come on grow up and act your age. I also feel that she needs to go and talk to her parents and tell them what there doing wrong and how they can help. Just let me say this, I'll be praying for her. I think we all need to.

Courtney, you need to go back to 5th grade where they teach spelling.

Regarding the issue at hand, the girl did something stupid and will suffer w/out being charged, however if this is all the police have to do in MI they should lay them off and reduce taxes.

look, she's 14. people make dumb choices. she's a nice person and people take this shit way to far. dont try and act like you've never done something you regretted. im sure she learned her lesson about it. the last thing she needs is ignorant people constantly judging her. grow up people.

its no one elses besides your parents business what u have on your phone. teachers shouldnt have the right to go through your cell phone if they take it away. its a total invasion of privacy. what goes on out side of school has nothing to do with teachers so mind your own business and do your jobs you losers
