Anybody bought a oil filter for their lawn mower this year,Last year, the same oil filter for a briggs and stratton engine cost 10.00 at walmart. The price now at walmart is 15.00.A 50 percent increase. The little oil filter is not half as big as a ford truck oil filter, that cost 3.00.The air filter at walmart, last year was 9 dollors. This year 14.95,another 50 percent increase.Who is ripping us off?Walmart or Brigg and statton.

it is probably both, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, pretty soon it is just going to be all brand name stores because they have put all of the mom and pop stores out of business, because they can't compete with the big name places, so we are just seeing a glimpse of what is to come.

I tried to find a adapter that would fit in my mower,so i could use a car filter. The threads in the mower were different.I just payed fifteen dollors for one too.It is a rip off.

did you price it at n.a.p.a.,,you did not fall for the wal-mart oil deal did you,,there oil is a few cents less on the shelf,,but when you check out they tack on a oil disposal fee that makes there oil the highest priced oil around,,about any automotive product at wal-mart is over priced..like there tires, you see the shelf price, but beware if you want any warranty it cost extra per tire, which puts there tires among the highest priced tires around.

True, the warranty price on tires has doubled in the last couple of years.Napa does have the best rebuilt parts.
