Thanks again to Max Hackett. Does the guy ever sleep?

I think Max Hackett indeed sleeps, it's just who he sleeps with. It is hard to see how his wife can share any time with her husband "Max", the disgraced former radio talk show host at WGOW. Now Max Hackedtt is busy "sleeping", just sleeping in the beds of Rhea County officials and printing news in the tyoical Rhea County small town newspaper slant.

How incredibly hateful. I have no idea why you would call Max Hackett disgraced. Something personal Eddy? It seems to me that he is doing an incredible job of covering a variety of issues. Do you even read his stuff?

in fact, can you explain the slant that this article has? No, you're just a conservative jerk who hated to hear someone intelligent on the radio.

If I may enter this fray for a moment, my name is Max Hackett. It is my legal name. My wife and I sleep well. I want to thank C. Smith for the kind comments I have noticed. As for Edward, I don't know you and you obviously don't know me or my experience at WGOW. There was nothing disgraceful in my departure from that radio station. I have signed papers stating that the reason I was let go was beuause the Citadel corporate headquarters had been badgering the Chattanooga group to move Rush Limbaugh to the FM band from the AM band for years. Bill Lockhart had fended off these requests several times. In a way you might say that I died for Jay Scott, The Jammer's, sins. Lockhart had gone to bat with corporate several times to defend Jammer and keep him in his air chair through three arrests on various drug related charges. When it came time to defend me keeping the chair, Lockhart had no cards left to play. Jammer had used them all. I was released with apologies and a very generous severance. There has never been any suggestion that I am aware of that I did anything disgraceful, either from the public or the company. Finally, the ratings I had in Arbitron consistently beat those posted by Jammer in the previous year's seasonal measurements.
I hope that this clears up some of the slanderous comments posted by the anonymous Edward.
Please continue reading the Herald-News.
I only seek to be accurate and fair in my reporting.
Sincerely,
Max Hackett

I think C. Smith and Max Hatchett are the same person. Also, Max shows his education, or lack thereof. Slander is verbal words, libel is printed words read by a third party. So to say you are stupid, would that be slander, libelous or just plain truth?

Max

No, it would just be saying that you don't address any points made in my letter. Maybe you and Edward are two different people, I guess we'll never know, since you hide behind anonymity and I don't. I can be reached at the Herald-News. I can be emailed at maxhackett@xtn.com Where are you "Ed" and where is your backup of saying I am "disgraced"? You have none, so like a typlical anonymous caller you squirt your pus and hide.

So why don't you let us know who you are so I can sue you for libel.

And by the way, you still haven't addressed C Smith's question to you. What was slanted in this article? I think everyone sees through you. Sorry you didn't like the political views on the radio show.
