just fill out the papers.ride around talk to parents, you should win real easy..if you are interested in getting our schools re-accredited you would have no problem winning.

If someone were highly intelligent, would you still vote for them if they had a criminal record?

I understand that Gregg has decide to not seek reelection. Too bad, I really wanted to see him squirm when the true numbers come in on this jail and we the taxpayers are once again forced to bear the burdens of this county. Hey guys if you are listening a wheel tax should be inplemented and soon.

wheel tax, until they built the dumpsters on Hy.30 every body around here ran rhea county tags,so a wheel tax would just cause more people to buy out of county tags..i think you wrong about Gregg not seeking reelection, last time i spoke to him,he was going to run again, and i think he would win,

i agree the cost of running the jail will be higher than they execpt..but bleeds county had to have it,,maybe the county should get back to supplying whats required by the tn.Constitution,,thats law enforcement and schools..every thing else is just i wants.not i got no choice.but the constitution is clear on law enforcement funding, thats how sheriff gobble took Bradly county to court and got the funding he needed..i am really surprised no sheriff has taken bledsoe county to court..

No it's true Gregg is not seeking re-election. It will probably be in the Bledsonian next week. The bigger question is who will run in his place and who will get elected?

has any one heard about any one running for school board, that could mean more to the tax payer than any other thing in bledsoe county,,we all know it cost more to run a school system than a jail..and the way the state has taken over several Hamilton county schools,i believe one bad move and the state will take over bledsoe county..i see it comming.

the state will eventually take over every school that is the way the no left behind is set up. How can you reach the bar when the state keeps raising it every year? After so many years being ran by the state a private company can come in and take over. It's all about money not education this is the dumbest thing to happen to schools since paddling has been removed. They even words it to pull at peoples emotions, "No child left behind" That is just dumb they didn't get left behind they failed and/or got held back. Not every child progresses at the same rate some need held back. So go ahead and push them to the next grade and then sit back and wonder why our children are so dumb compared to other countries around the world.

i agree with what you are saying, but something must be done with public eduction everywhere,,i seen on the news tonight where a school in n.c. was selling passing grades to the students for 20 dollars..i know private company's could do much better job than so called public schools,,hell my son is taking chemistry in collage,he is learning what i learned in 6th grade, until my boys started collage i had no idea, how little they had learned in high school..i really believe a good 6th grade student from the 70s,before we had a dept.of eduction..learned more math, English, science, social studys, etc.than a modern 12 grade student,,of course they did not teach us how to fill out a food stamp application,,or how to breed,,but they taught us how to make a living..i was talking to a old friend today,he has hired 2 high school grads, this year, neither one of them could find 5/8 of a inch on a tape..but could find 500 reasons why the floor would not fit..

My friends, it is true your mayor has decided not to captain the ship of Bledsoe anymore. It seems an iceberg of dumbassery (county commissioners) is determined to fight development of the county at every turn for their own reasons. For a Republican this mayor actually tried to help your dear county somewhat, but some people want to only complain and try to run a town set in 2009, with a mindset stuck in 1960.

Daily Horoscope for December 18

Aries

You'll be in a better position to get on well with someone who has power or authority over you. This might be your boss, some other authority figure, a friend you really respect or an older relative. Maybe you should chat up your superiors at the office Christmas party... or make more of an effort to understand what makes a certain person tick.
