Nathaniel and Elizabeth Mitchell of Dudley, N.C. had worked for over fifty years, purchased a home and raised a family in order to achieve their version of the "American Dream." Then in the early morning hours of January 28, 2013, a fire started in the utility room of their home and quickly spread, destroying everything they had. Even their vehicles parked under and near the attached carport were engulfed in flames. Although they escaped with only the clothes on their backs, they thanked God for sparing their lives. Nathaniel suffered second degree burns on his shoulders and was rushed to Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C. and then was sent on to Wake Med in Raleigh, N.C. after suffering from chest pains. It was there that doctors discovered that he had suffered a mild heart attack. He has since been released and they are living temporarily with relatives. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated and will help this family get back on their feet. Please go to: http://www.youcaring.com/help-a-neighbor/NATH... .
