I agree, sometimes a belt is definitely needed, but this child does not need a belt. This child's life has been torn apart and they need help handling everything that is happening.

There is a really good therapist across from Pikeville High School, Roger Coleman. My best to the child.

Look him up online.. He's a social worker that pretends to be a psychologist/psychiatrist! Plus when you meet him you'll discover he's one grade A weirdo...

Try Bart Williams... hes excellent with young people. He has frequent customers like WTF and I hear he doesnt charge anything.

I have been looking and I want someone who can really help. The yellow pages don't give first hand reviews and I knew this would be the place to find out if a doctor is worth going to.

A medical doctor or psychiatrist usually treats with medication. If the child needs someone to talk to you might prefer a psychologist.
Ask your family physician if they can suggest a good person or if they can ask around and help you find someone. I am sorry that you have to deal with smart aleck remarks at a time when you are dealing with such concern about the welfare of a child.

Not sure of the age of the child or the nature of their illness. However, Steve Price at the Shelby Valley Clinic is about as good of a psychologist as you will find. Also, if you want a Christ-centered therapist there is Arlene Nichols at Faith Counseling in Ivel. I HIGHLY recommend her but, she does not accept insurance.

Steve price is a licensed clinical social worker he cannot prescribe med but there is a doc in the office that works with him and his opinions to get the right med and he beats all psychologists anyway i saw him all thru my childhood for 11 years and i still see him from Time to time and he can still remember personal details and many docs cannot after so many years he is great and has a great way of gaining trust and returning it

Steve Price is no longer available at Shelby Valley clinic. And receptionist at the Shelby Valley clinic are not giving any info on how to contact Mr Price. I would really like to find contact info for Mr Price as he was very helpful to a family member who was a patient of his. Does anyone know where his new practice is located.
