you can always get student loans, even if you have bad credit. Any monies that are left over, for instance if you get 3000 in loans but your tuition is 2100, the remaining 900 would go to you directly. If you have an illness or see a psychiatrist, voc rehab can also assist you. They are located in pikeville, over in the riverfill. Its the big building before you get to county housing. Theyre on the 3rd floor. You can also apply for a Pell Grant. Thats money you dont have to pay back. you can google FAFSA and should get a link to apply, and you can take that in with you.

Hope this helped some.

They are doing crisis right now, but they are only seeing like 80 -90 people a day, and its first come first serve. If you are no income, they have changed it now and you cant just use your foodstamp letter. You have to go by there, and get a No Income Verification paper, and someone you know has to fill out the front for you stating that you, or any other adult in the family, who has no income, and they sign it, then you fill out the back on how you pay for stuff.

They said they would help til they were out of funds. Dont know if this has happened yet, but they've only been doing crisis for a week, so hopefully they arent out of funding yet.
hope this helps

There are a lot of elderly people living on fixed incomes; some with social security of less than $600 per month. Don't be a smart aleck.
