Has anyone ever read his book The Galactic Seven?

Yes, I have read it. It is aimed at younger readers, but it is pretty good. There are some typos in the orignal released version, but it is a good little aventure. You can get it as an e-book now on Amazon and Barrnes and Noble. The e-book does not have the errors. It is only $2.99 and at that price, it is a pretty good story. Part of his upcoming novel, The Galactic
Seven: Project Cygnus is much better. You can sample it at: http://www.necrotania.com/eFiction/viewstory....

The big thing on here is that some claim that M H Wilson is really the person called Barsoom. Barsoom has been describing UFO sigtings and other mysteries such as the copper disk found in Pikeville on here. Other posts have pointed to clues they found in the book and on the cover that leads them to believe that M H Wilson is Barsoom. M H Wilson seems to be a mystery himself, no one really claimes to know him and he has not publically denied or confirmed being Barsoom. I don't know if he has even officially spoken about it in public. I don't know, but I was well entertained by the Galactic Seven.

I think I met this guy at a book signing here in Pikeville. If so, that photo doesn't look a thing like him.

Please tell us of your encounter with him. You seem to be the only person on here that has met him. Did you speak with him? Did he speak about UFO's? Give us any information you can.

I went to a book signing at the bookstore by Economy drug late in October. There were three authors there. Two of them wrote books about eastern Kentucky and the other wrote science fiction books. I cannot remember the guy's name; but I was thinking that it was this Wilson guy. I spoke to him briefly; but as I have no interest in scifi, I didn't buy his book. I can call the store and ask the lady what the guy's name was. I am not positive that it was MH Wilson; but all three of them were from eastern Kentucky.

She probably would not know any more about him than we do. It is weird, though. I mean, whether or not M H Wilson is really Barsoom or not. reguardless, Mr. Wilson is a mystery. He lives in the area locally, but no one seems to know him. He has a face book page, but no one has claimed to be a friend of his. I think that is what keeps the mystery going. On one hand, who really cares, but on the other, it is interesting. Perhaps there is something to this M H Wilson/Baroom thing.

I know of only one author that writes science fiction that lives in Pikeville and that is M H Wilson. At least what most consider science fiction. There is another, Thomas Elam that does write science fiction, but I don't think he has actually released a science fiction story. He had a book called Tricks, Treats, and Tinsel which is poems about Halloween and Christmas. In fact, Thomas Elam and M H Wilson have done book signings together and I understand they are friends, but Elam has no actual science fiction books out as of the moment. M H Wilson seems to be the one that has had the most success with science fiction. The Guy hmmm met has to be M H Wilson. I don't know about the photo, but I am sure that is him.

I think M H Wilson's silence on the matter speaks volumes. By now he has to know about this. If he is not Barsoom, he could just say that he is not. If he is Barsoom, then keeping quiet would be the thing to do, which is what I think he is doing. What I think is supspicious is that no one knows Mr. Wilson personally. Does he even exist? Perhaps M H WIlson and Barsoom are the same person, but maybe M H WIlson is a fake name also. I find it hard to believe that after all this time, no one has come out and say, yes, M H Wilson is my friend, I've known him for years. Or at least someone that knows him pretty well. Mr. Wilson has to shop somewhere. Must have friends and relatives if he really lives in the area. And what about this so called group he suppoesed to meet with at the Pikeville Library? Does this group exist. Maybe someone could call the library and ask if this so called writer's group really meets once a month there.

That's what I've been wondering. Who is this guy? From my understanding, he not only lives in Pikeville, but he was born here. So it is hard to imagine that know one knows him? They have his book at the Pikville Library, though I've never checked it out. Someone said he was a member of the YMCA and claim to have seen him there. IF M H Wilson is truely secretly writing a book on UFO's, under the guise of Baroosm, then perhaps we should wait until it comes out. We can then judge it and compare it to M H Wilson's writing.

I also met him at a book signing. He signed my book and we talked briefly, I asked him what imspired him and he replied scifi and television. He did not mention andything about UFO's or anything like that. He did say that he was going to concentrate on the Galatctic Seven series for now. So, if he is working on a UFO book on the side, he did not show any idication of that. Now, this has been several years ago and things may have changed. Perhaps someone commished him to do a book on UFO's. Maybe this would explain why he would be secretive of it. I think someone mentioned the author had a facebook page. Why not ask him directly.

I read The Galactic Seven and it was pretty good. It wasn't the greatest piece of literature that I've ever read, but it was exciting. Of course, it is aimed at younger readers. The Galactic Seven is a good read. I only paid $2.99 for it and I read it on my kindle. For that price you can't really complain no matter if you like it or not. But I thought is was a pretty good read. The action sequences are top notch. The author, M H Wilson should be writing for hollywood, not novels. The book would make a good movie.

Now, the second novel in the Galactic Seven series is much better. I don't know when it will be released but you can find the first part of it on the net. It blew me away. It is a time travel story and I think it would sell alot when ever it comes out. Here is the link, you have to join the site, but it is free. http://www.necrotania.com/eFiction/viewstory.... You can read other fine stories there as well. A very good scifi site.

I saw a guy wearing a Galactic Seven t-shirt today at the Pikeville YMCA. Could it be the author M H Wilson? I wasn't about to approach him and ask. I was curious what he thinks about all this crazy talk about him. But I'm only assuming that it was the author. I guess someone else could be wearing a Galactic seven shirt. This guy must be popular enough to have t-shirts. If it is the author that I saw today. Perhaps he had it made himself. I heard that the author is a member of the YMCA, so I guess that could have been him.

I downloaded the Galactic Seven and it is a good read. Sure, it's aimed at a younger audience and the writing is written at that level. But you know what? It wasn't bad. It is a nice little adventure. There is supposed to be a new Galactic Seven novel coming out, I don't know when, but i will buy that as well. M H Wilson, the author, is very imagative, where he comes up with this is a wonder. Hey, for 3 bucks, you can't go wrong. Even is you don't like it, someone in your family will.

If you are refering to Melvin Wilson, yes he lived in Coal Run for about 30 years. I did not have much dealings with him, but I do know that he used to play ball with Keith Hall and other boys there. I did know that he was a writer now.
