There is a clinic ran by Dr. Jamie Hager in Pikeville that does well. I think $300. It really works

Dr. Potter at Lackey has a clinic. They start you on a low dosage anywhere from 2-8 mgs at 1st but they up you if you need it.

Read what I posted, I'm no expert on either but why do they remain on the suboxone/ Is it permanent or at some point do you stop taking it and why are people arrested for selling it on the street? Apparently there is a big demand for it from the people that buy street drugs

because some get them for money . just like others who sell other types of meds . but methadone and suboxone are great for the peaple who take it right . its like anything else . open a walmart and some will steal . you get what im saying ?

why put perfectly good people down who are trying to do better in their lives? there is always going to be someone who will say bad things. if it helps people and the money isn't coming out of your wallet then why do you care? if you take it right then i say do it, it does work. i know b/c i take it. you don't get a buzz like i've heard methodone does and you can actually be a productive part of society again.

Let's not veer from the purpose of this thread. Who is the cheapest Doctor in the area to get it from? Are there any Doctors/Physicians/Clinics in the area that DO NOT require you to go to therapy/counseling and all of that stuff? Thanks.

how often you have to go in??? do u have to go to all of those meetings? so far, the problem that i have ran into is that it is hard for a working man to get in to see a suboxone doctor. It's sort of like they encourage an individual to be unemployed. I work, but would still LOVE to treat my addiction. Sooo, whilst working 50 and more hours a week, i'd like to be able to stop by and see a Suboxone Doctor once a month and get my script' and be done with it. HELP!!! And Thanks a million!!!

You do have to go to counseling. I guess it just depends on the Dr. that you choose. I go once a mth to the Dr. and then to meetings twice a week. I work and it can be done and work too. The meetings are usually at night and the Dr.s visit is during normal business hrs of the Dr. My Dr.s is also 300.

I hope that he doesn't start everyone at that amount. This medication needs to be individualized for each person. A person that has a smaller drug habit does not need to start out taking that much suboxone.

Sure if you start taking suboxone u will get hooked on it but just not nearly as bad as u would methadone or anything else.

ive been on suboxone forever and i can say for me it truly has saved my life.

i was on both methadone and suboxone and i have to say suboxone is 1,000,000 better.

Hey to all you people who go to the methadone clinic... "sick of waking up at 5 am in the cold every single morning????, sick of gettin drug tested out the ass???, sick of being treated like dirt from the staff at the methadone clinic????

heres the percs of it.

1. dont have to go to a building every morning to get medicine cause its in a bottle with you!

2. once stabilized on the medicine you only have to see a doctor once a month.

3. if you have health insurance u can get your medicine from 10-30$.

4. its a billion times easier to get off than methadone.

hell some people comming off methadone have hallucinations and other nutso shit.
