fuzy is an old man, way too old for the job. the old who is your family approach isn't working anymore. fuzzy is stuck back in the 70s. he is an old pitiful man, watch him on tv stumbling for his words trying to speak
I like Rodney, And I just think he should have waited one more term and then he would have had the job as sheriff, But Fuzzy has been too good to too many people and I just think nobody can beat him. And again let me say I like both of them and they have both helped me any way they could. I just wish Rodney had waited 4 more years. With that being said I will not be voting in this race. Just can't vote against either one.

but does pike county not need new blood in the office? when someone stays in office that long he is not a legend as another poster said but its a regime. does an almost 90 year old man need to be sheriff? is he up to date on computers etc? no he is just a politician

Fuzzy is a politician. You know they serve as long as people elect them. He has served Pike County well.

His name is Scott Hopkins and I agree he would be an excellent candidate.

Rodney ain't old enough to carry the graveyard vote! Fuzzy knows where all the good graveyard vote is and all the skeletons. Fuzzy is the only one I know who's military service is in the Roman army and has an autographed copy of the new testament from the apostle Paul. Biggest crime when fuzzy was first elected as sheriff was drunk Indians.

kinda hard when you have a sheriff who is only worried about deputies escorting funerals. fuzzy cant do what he doesn't have a clue about. the deputies he has would screw it up anyway

Be about like sending Barney Fife after Bonnie and Clyde. Call them for a burglary and they might show up the next day.

the sheriff should care about the county and the people, all rodney cares about is the power and the fringe benefits. he wants to cheat on his wife all over the county not just in the jail and on training trips. this election will turn friends against each other and just hurt the democratic party. he needs to stay where he is if he wants to keep a job.

Fuzzy needs to realize it's time for someone else. He has had it the office since the 50s. We don't need an old man in there anymore.
What about Windmill Whaann he been in office since I was a pup? He and Floyd County Judge are a disgrace to East kentucky. Windmill now says he is studing how we can make fire logs out of reconditioned ashes, this will produce a hundrerd or more jobs for Pike County.

New Blood, my a$$! Rodney Scott is just a younger political hack and he's run a rotten jail with a bunch of cronies and thugs where drugs have run rampant and inmates have been left to suffer under horrid conditions. FUZZY 4 EVER!

What is it with Pike County politicians? That old woman at the Clerks Office has been in for generations, used the same picture from back in the 30's for 50 years on campaign posters. I thought she was a damn vampire and never aged. It is like when you get the job it's yours for life, run it out of the nursing home! Geez!
