It sad that while County officials have placed the pike county under a state of emergency PMC would only donate 5 blankets to the emergency disaster scene that was set up for all the people that was stranded in waters at racoon creek for hours, wet and cold.
this is the same people that have helped pme to become the #1 hospital in the nation.there was emergency personal there from pike and flood co along with dhp and transtar ambulance services, senator and state rep there but pmc could only donate 5 blankets.

You gotta be kidding me...my daughter was hanging from a tree on Coon Creek and it was the Floyd County rescue Squad that rescued her and another woman..She arrived home with one of the regular white bed blankets..... That they use on the beds there at the hospital.....after she was warmed up and checked out that she was ok...

Does anyone know anything about the Goff family who live on Fifty Eight Branch on Raccoon Creek. And also their daughter Michelle who lives at Keene Village? She is a good friend of mine and I'm very worried about her and the family. So sorry for everyone who was affected by the flooding.

I have been telling everybody how they are for months on the Hospital thread. Sometimes it takes a public show to prove it. Excel Mining proved what kind of people the mining companies are, but 5 blankets from the Nations finest doesn't surprise me one bit. Just be sure to sign the arbitration agreement when you have to go there, they don't need any lawsuits or the next time they will cut it down to 2 blankets. It shows what they really think about the community.

And stripping, we can now see what that handful of jobs they keep crying about is costing us. You can't strip the watershed without bringing this kind of devistation upon yourselves.

Millions of dollars in damage, homes lost, lives lost. I hope they ban every form of strip mining in Pike County!

This thread has to do with the hospital in pike co that the people built and when the people need something in return this is how the hospital returned it, the hospital "PIKEVILLE MEDICAL CENTER" turned there backs on the fine people in pike co.
