I personally think the government may slow down the bigger, convertible to and full automatic gun sales, but not all guns.

But more importantly, I think they will make it so expensive and so difficult to but ammo, we won't be able to buy any. That way they leave our right to bear arms in place, but we will have very limited ability to have something to shoot in our guns, or only the rich will be able to buy it.

What do you all think?

I am a non-smoker, but it is my understanding that taxes are BEYOND exorbitant on cigarettes. I strongly suspect that a similar tax is in the works for ammo of all calibers....

just like y2k scare, everyone was hoarding food, money, ammo, anything
this is just scare tactics
and i wouldnt be surprised if the gun and ammo industry isnt beind alot of this
they are seeing record sales
now this wouldnt be a bad thing if the ammo is being made here in america and put ppl back to work!!!!!

And let's not forget, take a conceal carry class; I received my conceal carry license last week.
With the world the way it is now, we all need to be able to adequately defend ourselves.

Also...its not just taking the class but getting out often to your local range or land if you have some and fire often. And remember to always cc with you at all times.

Waiting, for my carry permit, to arrive! You Libs gittin' worried, you bitch about taking away weapons, I really don't think any of you has the guts to do it yourself! You have to have your precious government do it for you. Death Before Dishonor.

You don't need a carry permit. Open carry is legal right now. If you are allowed to buy a gun, you can carry it in plain sight on your hip in a holster. Plus, that is free to do, no classes or anything for that to be legal.

Yes, you are correct. I open carry quite often, have never been approached by LEOs or store security...

It is strange that we had to go for school to get our CCDW permit but anyone practically who wants to can carry a gun just like yours or mine. It's great but kind of strange. I hope the current administration fails to get what they want, but probably will get some concessions from the conservative side after such crazy happenings as we all have seen. I'm not surprised to learn that most if not all the insane shooters have been identified as far left liberals.

I couldn't agree more, practice makes perfect & one also needs to brush up on their skills a few times a year.
I was extremely lucky, my Father worked at post 9 for almost 30 years before he passed, he was a trained sniper; he taught me very early about guns, the very first gun I shot was a single shot 22 rifle; I was 7.

You were very fortunate to have had such a father. I, too, was trained starting at age six, sitting on my dads knee, with an old Winchester single shot .22, memories that are more precious than gold to me.

I was very fortunate, I have an older brother & a younger sister; Dad taught us about guns & put us all through boxing & martial art classes; he always said his children would not be victims.
I agree with you, memories are priceless & they are the one thing you'll never lose.
The desert eagle I have was my Dads, my Brother has his shot guns; my sister wanted his 22 pistol & his 25 pistol.
