Where are you all at now? Barack has killed coal and we cant seem to find a good ole democrat anywhere. Prior to election of 08 all anyone would hear is how bad Bush and the republicans were. The fact of the matter is there were more mining jobs than we had workers for during and throughout the Bush administration. I remember when companies main complaint were they couldn't find enough workers in this area who could pass a drug screen. Ahh the good old days. I guess what I want to hear is for some of you hardcore democrats to come on here and tell the people how the Democrat is for the working man, or are you ashamed? I would be. This November make sure you run out as the old saying goes and pull the rooster's tail and vote democratic if you hate working and hate eating, or having any kind of freedom. For decades this area has been considered Democratic and look what it has done for us. Kept us poor, unemployable, and ignorant. Please pike county go down to the court house change to the GOP and show these liberal Democrats we are for jobs, and the traditional American way.
well

Amen, I don't care for Obama either-but O'Romney sure as hell won't be any better. DO you HONESTLY think that voting for that prick will make coal come back? Only if he declares war on natural gas like Obama has coal. Find us a Blue Dog Democrat or a Republican that isn't only for the wealthiest 1% and I WILL VOTE FOR THEM TODAY and I will actively campaign for the GOP. HELL, your own party doesn't even like O'Romney. Find us a candidate that is in the CENTER politically and not EXTREME either way. The poster talks about how good things were under W.(two wars on credit cards-Forget that???) We spend 8 years worrying about HABID and AKMED and not enough time worrying about Larry and Earl back home. He failed to mention that things were pretty good also under Clinton---good jobs and gas at about $1.30 per gallon.

It can't get any better then this, just complete utter nonsense. G.W. destroyed the Country for eight years and some nut hollering it was the good ol days. This area is just now getting a little touch of what the rest of the nation had to endure for eight years, four of them stolen, and actually think they were good ol days. Maybe we really are ten years behind the rest of the country. The thing is Ky didn't go for Obama the last election so I doubt think we will make a difference this time either. This may well be the price we have to pay for being racists. I didn't vote for Obama the first time and won't this time, but you can be sure I won't vote for a republican, and especially a Mormon. Trickle down my arse. The middle class has been wiped out by republicans.

Yes, I love it come on all you Democrats tell us the plan to save Appalachia. Well fare checks? unemployment checks? How about we just call them depend on the government checks. W. was good for coal and oil. He had his faults but Appalachian miners worked. Maybe we can all go back to raising our own food and making whiskey just like we did before coal. Oh, I forgot the government banned making whiskey. Similar to the way The Democrats have banned Coal. Thanks, Guys but I believe I will give old Mit a try.

Whoever it would have been is better than what we now have. If we keep this one you won't have to worry about being DEMOCRAT or REPUBLICAN, we'll all be socialist or communist. That's his plan! Wake up before it's too late. Vote Romney in November...
