What about the 500 chemical weapons that was found in Iraq in 2003? What about the missiles that Iraq used during the first Gulf war? What about the weapons that Iraq used against Iran in the early 80s? If you think Iraq had no WMDs then you are sadly mistaken. Do you think after all that, that Saddam Hussein just gave the weapons up out of the goodness of his heart? Remember, we did not exactly give them a sneak attact. They knew we were coming and had plenty of time to hide them or get rid of them. Remember Bill CLinton in the 90s? He bombed Iraq, too, after they refused to let the UN inspect their nuclear facilities. Now, why else would Saddam Hussein refuse the inspection of these facilities if he was not hiding something? There was clear evidence at the time that Iraq was trying to build nuclear weapons. Don't beleive what the press pounds into you.

Speaking of the press, how do you think the press explained the 500 chemical bombs that was found? They simply said that those were not the exact weapons they were looking for. That they were from the Iran/Iraq war in the 80s. That is like the police going in a house and searching for illegal pain pills, but instead finding several pounds of cocain and not arresting the owners. "Those weren't the drugs we were looking for. We were looking for illegal pain pills."

Iraq was a problem. Now, maybe we should have not tried to take on too much at one time and maybe we should have found a faster way to take care of the problem. But Iraq was a dangerous opposition to us. The media said that Iraq had nothing to do with AL-Qaeda--but there were an awful lot of AL-Qaeda members in Iraq at the time.

Hmmm?

Do research and then come back here? There is no doubt that Iraq had WMDs in the past. The question is did they get rid of all of them before we attacked them in 2003?

Have you been watching the news lately, the Syrians are now using them against the rebels...the same WMD's Hussein snuck across the border just before we went to war. Maybe old G.W. was right after all.
