In my opinion, you're not the first and won't be the last that this happens to. I am sorry for your loss.
I have heard stories like this before and that's why they will not park my vehicle. I've heard of valet's making extra keys and marking the vehicles. They need to check these people and see if they have criminal records before hiring them. Again, sorry for your loss and I hope you get your items back. Good Luck.

Well, either you don't keep anything in your car,or you just got lucky.

On the average a lot won't have anything taken. They either don't keep anything of value in their vehicle, or it gets parked in a location where it can't be easily accessed. Simply because it didn't happen once does not mean you will be so lucky again. The first mistake is thinking they will treat your property with respect. There was one at Wally World who was stealing anything he could get his hands on pulling your vehicle in to the service area. Do not trust these people.

i have heard people say in the past they have had things missing from their cars..i also hear people say they drive their vehicle too fast to the upper parking lot. i always park across the road and walk..im kinda weird about someone else driving my car.

I feel the same way about a stranger driving my car. But what choice do we have when we take a family member to ER? We can't park out front of ER and we can't just leave our loved one in the ER alone while we park over the hill and get back to the ER. I have never had anything missing, but I just don't like having to do that. It sometimes takes quite a while to get your car back, too.

I've used the valet parking many many times. I prefer to use the parking lot across the road and either ride the bus or walk. But my father-in-law has health issues and we take him there frequently so we use the valet. So far I have had no problems of anything being taken from my vehicle or having any damage to my vehicles. I make sure not leave anything really valuable, but I do leave my compact discs in the car, but none has ever come up missing. I'm sure it depends on the person that parks it. I'm sure the majority of the workers are honest people, but there are always bad apples no matter where you work. Now, my wife worked at the hospital for a while and perhaps they did not try to steal anything from me because she new some of them personally. We still use the valet alot, though.

The last time they parked my vehicle they robbed my change tray... Probably had 10 bucks in quarters and it was gone when I got back in there. Not a lot of money, it's the fact that u shouldn't take whats not yours!!! If they asked for it, I would have given it to them

It all boils done to hiring and keeping a check on their employee's....some of these were raised not to respect others property...I have heard rumors of cars being drove while people were visiting..don't know if this has ever happened..their buddy was on the look-out..

Not only being drove, I hear several have been used to make out in. If you find any funny looking stains on your seats you know where they came from.

I've never had a problem with the valet parking. Did you file a complaint right when it happened?
