Update Alert: In a stunning turn of events, Bloomigdale's has joined in the Development as an Anchor Store. The upscale high Dollar Retailer was pleased to join in such a huge metropolitan Development.

A disappointing note was noted when the Vidal Sassoon Salon pulled out of the Project after concerns were raised about the Sewage Stench that is extremely strong along the Greenfly Riviera. Sassoon said there sophisticated Clients would not be amenable to such a manure odor.

The Fiscal Court stalled it. Rutherford creates debt and more taxes every time he is elected. People will never learn.

Sometimes Pikeville's priority projects don't benefit Pike county as a whole.

Update Alert: Sak's 5th Avenue wants to expand their presence in the imaginary Shopping Center Donnie announced 2 years ago, they have been assured the fault Sewer Stench will be removed at the expense of the Fiscal Court. Otherwise Donnie will blame the Magistrates and Windmill for holding up his Greenfly Riviera Development and he will tell the ANE it is all their fault.

In a related development Vidal Sassoon passed out from the stench and hit his head on the Post Office.

Pikeville is the county seat. It always has, and always will be, the center of the county. The Fiscal Court needs to grow up and stop pouring money into senior citizen centers and "studies" for Coal Mountain which just goes into certain people's pockets and does not benefit the county at all. When Pikeville does well, so does the rest of the county. Jobs are created and tax revenues are generated. Businesses like Kohl's and chain restaurants are not going to locate out in the county!

I live south of Pikeville, a small place called Draffin, and I think the new courthouse should have been built in South Williamson. They seem to be doing something right over there. We people here always called it "The Back Side Of The County", and now it seems "We are the BACK SIDE". Just my thought.

Wrong it's not the center of pike co. You need to get your city sleek ass out in the county go to Freeburn,Feds Crk.Elkhorn Cit,and you will find out its not the center of Pike Co.If our Elect County official would do the right thing and create jobs such as some of the ones that are at Pikevillies out in the county, maybe we would have a tax base to work with other than put it on the backs on PROPERTY owners, you look at the tax that the city takes in from the school board central office employees, and all the county citizens that work in the city limits,us county folks don't get a dam penny back, and now they are heart broken that they aren't going to get any coal serevance money, that dam money had suppose to be use to create JOBS!
