If the call-back of 150 men the day after election doesn't open the eyes of the coal miners I don't know what will ever open them. Our miners have been used as political pons. New coal orders, GREAT! How long has the two companies had these new orders? These men could have been called back to work a couple of weeks ago or longer, but the companies instead was hoping for a Romney victory so they say "see Romney is elected and you are already back to work." They have known for a long time when these men would be called back. Instead they waited until the day after the election. Once again, the miner was used while big company politics was being played. Did I vote for Romney, yes, did I think he was for the coal industry, NO! It makes me sick to see these miners treated like this.

For some reason it's a big secret, no one knows. I think it has something to do with the UFO seen over Pikeville the other night.
Maybe we can export coal to a far away galaxy. There may be hope for coal after all.

If this is true how come TECO just laid off numberous of their office employees who had been there many years. I would have to start seeing more coal trucks on the road and business booming all the time except at the first of the month to believe this. Our elected officials must have blinds on and if they can convience us coal is picking up they can convience us of anything.
