Convenient cop out. When pressed for actual answers most religious people respond like this. It's ok dear. I understand the meaning of "faith", and I have no problem with you having it. Just keep in mind honey, that not everyone agrees with you. And your "Religion" is just your belief, and not the "Law" of our "Free" Country.
Love, I could write my beliefs all day & if you are not a believer; then it will make no difference to you.
Of course it is my belief, dear you don't have to believe or agree; it's your soul, not mine.

Perhaps I should confess, I have no desire to engage in a patronizing word vomit fest with you or anyone else. It is interesting though, how different one views themselves versus how other people view them. It is not my intention to insult you or your beliefs. But you did go there first, and I did follow. However, if you would care to discuss the topic at hand, I'm willing. I have lot's of questions for the Christian community. But if you only want to belittle each other, I will leave you to the others on this thread where you seem more comfortable. The balls in your court Sweetmeat. I'm neither for nor against you.

no God, it's a coping mechanism of denial. Instead of admitting fault (sin), it's easier
(and more comforting) to just deny the possibility of an Ultimate Judge and therefore justify one's sin resulting in it's acceptability.
Side note: The basis for ALL of America's LAWS originate from the decalogue (aka 10 Commandments)
despite the pitiful Liberal Mafia's facade of rewriting U.S. History as a desperate attempt to erase America's Christian origins/heritage but the FACTS ( i.e. Truth, reality, etc.) speaks for itself.
Once more, despite what you wish to be true, the simple fact that we are a Country of "Religious Freedom" makes us not a "Christian Nation". Spin it anyway you want, but in the end we are in fact a Secular Nation. Enjoy your own misunderstanding.

I never intended to "belittle" you in my original post to you dear; think what you will, but I am not one to insult; I will follow suite, you do not know me personally; but I am never crude first love.
Ask what you would like here, it's supposed to be a discussion anyway, not a verbal "throw down", there are many decent intelligent people here & a few idiotic trolls... if I can answer you, I will to the best of my ability.
However, i've experienced another poster that wants Christians to explain all the trials & tribulations that we go through as humans, I honestly cannot; I do not understand the complete will of God, but I do believe that it is always for the greater good.

I never stated America is a Christian Nation now did I? I for one know it isn't such for the term itself would imply that everyone in it, on every level, would be Christians. Yet the fact remains that the Founding Fathers were Theists that all firmly believed in God's existence and had reverence for Him that's evident to this very day. I'm always amused by the desperate ploy of denying accurate American History by non-believers. You should read the post at the link below and see if you're able to grasp your own complete misunderstanding and self-deceiving distortion.

It matters not what the founding fathers believed about god. Instead look at what they believed to be right. The freedom to choose you own belief. If they wanted this country to be Christian as you say then they would have said so. They did not however they separated church and state and said freedom of religion. You people complain about Obama and liberals stepping on the constitution when you all advocate church in schools and it our courtrooms. The constitution says they are to be separate. That's the only stepping on the constitution I see. Conservatives wanting to dictate religion. Some of the founding fathers may have been Christian not all were. They made it clear that we were not a christian nation when they separated church and state. The government can not advocate any religion.

Quit trying to distort my words, please. I never once have said that America IS or SHOULD BE a "Christian Nation". That's the problem with you all and your kind, you are so biased that it warps your minds so badly that truth and reality are removed from your abilities to perceive. You read something in black and white right before your eyes but when it arrives to your skull it registers as something completely unlike what's actually printed. You all are so desperate to deny accurate U.S. History that you'll embrace any lie, you're making assumptions about me when I have said nothing even remotely similar to your claims about me. Do you even grasp the origin of Separation Of Church and State? I doubt it so I'll provide that link again though I doubt you'll fathom it's merit in the long run. Yeah, that's some Separation of Church and State when money declares In God We Trust or people are required to swear an oath on a Bible in courtroom (revealing an oath before God is more binding than one to the Gov't. LOL) or the many other clear examples that such a notion of Separation..isn't that legit in actuality. The very Constitution you like to trample asunder refers to The Creator ( aka GOD ) as the very giver of our Liberties and Freedoms in the U.S. I fully agree that the Federal Gov't. cannot and SHOULD not advocate ANY Religion as state-sponsored but it works both ways in the notion that it ( Gov't.) also CANNOT suppress the FREEDOM Of RELIGION for We, The People either should we be ones that choose such. I sure wish you heathens would come to understand that all your desperate ploys to escape God's influence on America or to deny God's existence will not prevail you one iota in the long run. Defiance/denial is but for a season while Righteousness is eternal so live it up in your delusional fantasy world while you can..warp all the words you want. Paint as many untruthful facades as you wish, make all the deranged denials you can because we'll all die someday and THEN we'll ALL know who was right and who was wrong/deceived. Believe (or don't, whatever) what you want here and now but I'll take my chances where it actually counts.

Endowed by our "CREATOR" that does not advocate a Christian god. You want to believe that this country is all about that Christian god. I think the founders should have said freedom from religion not of. Its people like you who want to dictate religion. You are the one rewriting history to suit your idea. You're already dead but just don't know it yet. While the Federal Courts have ruled Atheism as a Faith-based Religion, it's clear our Founding Fathers should have implemented a "freedom from mindless ignorance" clause to save us all from the likes of you brain-dead masses.

You are the one advocating I believe as you do. I don't care what you believe and I wont preach to anyone about my belief. Its you so called Christians who keep pushing your agenda on the rest of the world. Religion is a made up fantasy brought on by people being oppressed and abused. They wanted to believe that a just god would one day set them free and punish those who wronged them that's all it is. Why and how we came to be is a mystery but one thing is for sure. You all give your God lip service but don't truly follow what Jesus taught. Jesus fought against the dogma of the church of his day. He also fought against oppression of the poor and sick. The republicans want to through them to the wolves.

You are another who listens to liberal BS and believes anything. Show us where "seperation of Church and state" is even mentioned. It's dolts like you who give liberalism its bad name for uneducated lemmings. That is not mentioned ANYWHERE in the Constitution!

BTW...What the hell is a "sista"? Can't you even spell cistern? Your post wreaks of mispelling and ignorance.

Why do conservatives have to endure such unqualified nut cases who know absolutely NOTHING of what they try to support and have no desire to get an education?
