I would like to know if any women out there have tried Latisse the precripton treatment for short eyelashes. Just wondered how it worked.

i havent tried it but looked into it recently. it looks safe and seems to be effective. the only thing that scares me about it is that it could cause your lids to darken which MAY not go away.

well in my case I noticed on nights I used it I would WAKE up with a head/neck ache. So I would stop using it...no head/neck ache...100 people may use it and exp. something different however in my case I am wise enough to know it was the cause of the headache/neck ache.

You can order Latisse direct from the pharmacy for $12.50 instead of paying the Dr's markups. I've been using it for the last 3 months and it works. Same stuff same bottle as the $120 stuff http://bit.ly/4wmJfw

Have you noticed if Latisse darkens your eyelids, or if it has changed the color of your eyes. I have blue eyes & it states it can change the color of your pupils permanently.

Also, have you ordered from this company?

Thanks much for the info.

I've ordered from this place 3 times. It takes 2-3 weeks to get your shipment. I've got blue eyes too and looked into the color change warning. It really only applies if you are using the drops for glaucoma and putting the medication INTO your eyes. I've been using it for 4 months and have only had good results. They also carry retin-a for between $2.60 and $5.95 a 20g tube. I order the Retin-A micro, it's gentler.

What percentage of Retin-A did you buy? I bought some when I was in Mexico & it wasn't the same as what I buy here.

Who is the manufacturer of the Retin-A? Is the shipping cost very expensive?

Awesome info, thanks much!

I would like to also try something to make me eyebrows thicken. Anyone got any ideas? As I've aged, they've gotten thinner.

Careprost (generic latisse) works on eyebrows as well. Try alldaychemist dot com for Careprost, it'll be under $30 but stock up because each bottle is only a few dollars or add other products to your order(the shipping's high). Here's the trick to using Latisse or Careprost:
1)Use the tiniest of eyeliner brush instead of the larger, wide brush that comes with Latisse. This will allow you to place the product right into the base of the lashes and not on your eyelid. Because of the precision you get using this tiny brush you can put the product on your lower lashes as well and not worry about *possible* skin darkening.
2)Place one drop into the cap of the bottle. Using the small eyeliner brush, I have enough product for both upper lids, both lower lids and my brows. This also makes the product last at least twice as long.(up to 3 months on 1 bottle for me)
3)Put the product on in the morning before make up and let dry. This reduces the chance of the product seeping into corners of the eye and other places you don't want it when you lie down at night.
4)My eyebrows grow thicker, but not longer - so no worries about that.
Always wash the cap and brush after each use. I tap out the cap on a towel then blow dry the inside for a bit with my blow dryer to make sure no water gets into the bottle, diluting the product.

Oh! I also sweep a qtip on my lid, avoiding the lashes, when I feel I get sloppy. I may be OCD about this, but I feel like it helps prevent any possible skin darkening.

I guess this product is coming from overseas since pharmaceutical companies are granted a number of years in the U.S. where a product cannot be made generic?

Is this a safe website to give credit card information to?

I just found another link for this medication and it costs $25 to ship it. It is being made in India.

I have ordered from both sites & never had a problem. It's easy to get something like a prepaid Visa gift card if you are concerned with the safety of your credit or bank card info. These products are from overseas - for example, the Retin A I get from them is manufactured in India for Johnson & Johnson. I would not recommend these sites if there was ever a problem with the ordering process or the product itself.
