Nope! Although it was 5 years ago when I worked there, I wouldn't have recommended it then. All the kids did all day was just played with toys in a small room. Sure when it was nice out, they went outside, but the warm weather's not here yet.
Some of the workers back then would let the kids run around all day filthy, then cleaned them up only when it was time for the parents.
I'm not saying that's how it is now, but that's why I quit after a month back then.
Model City was much better. They actually put the kids on a schedule. They had color time, play time, nap time, etc. I worked there for a while, but quit because I couldn't live on the minimum wage they paid me, then took most of it out for my son being enrolled.

it was okay when i worked there back in 2004 but that was the only time it was smooth with my kids being there but there were things that went on there that i didnt like with other kids, and i didnt like the rules they had either about, not telling the parents who bit or hit ur child and etc..and the way some of the workers talked about the kids and was kissing the parents asses, which to me is bull! but there is a bad employee everywhere u go, just because a person passes a drug test and has no criminal record , doesnt make them a good child care worker or worker... period! i would suggest to pop in at anytime of day or have someone that the the workers arent familar with to come in and check up on ur kid, to me no day care is perfect and taking care of all those kids isnt easy!

Yes, the same women has them both! If you get assistance with daycare they make you pay more than you really have to! For what i have no clue! It is by far not a nice place! My advise to anyone looking @ these 2 daycares would be to check out Model City!

Bull crap! Bull crap! Bull crap! My kid goes to Kid's World, has for almost all of his 4 years of life and it's great there! First, keep in mind nothing's gonna be perfect when it comes to someone's kid, especially if you love them like most of us do!!! Second, never, ever take advice on any freaking business from an ex-employee! There's, of course, a very distinct and probably bitter reason they're an EX-employee!!! just keep that in mind!!!
Kid's World is as awesome as any place that isn't home can ever be!!! Give it a try! You'll see for yourself in no time!!!

This place will be much better in the next few weeks.Casey Anthony and her investors will turn this place around. We will produce great kids who will mind their parents. If they won't act nice, Miss Casey will give them swim lessons to wear them out

To be honest with you it is a shame that some people can do bad things to children and get by with it....It has happened @ kids world and MONEY makes all the difference sad but true! If some parents knew some stuff they would step a foot in that door...

I worked at Kids World for almost two years, loved the kids and the job itself, but couldn't handle the way some kids were treated. Employees were treated very badly as well. I worked at least ten hours each day during the week and longer on the weekend (when it was open till midnight). I almost NEVER got a lunch or break, and was only paid minimum wage. Plus, no matter how many hours I worked, I was never paid for overtime.

Model City is wonderful, went there when I was a child. Also volunteered there for quite some time. It is very highly recommended!!!

Kids world is a joke!!! Tammy the hefty lady who sits on her big a $$ out front is rude...and the one big bubble butt girl with that gargantuaus mole...every single time I came in there she had a different black guy in her room with her! Not being rasicst, at all but this was a daycare not a brothel!!! Date in your own time. Plus my sons diaper was always full...and diapers are not cheap. Every week that'd tell me they needed more...120 diapers a week!???? Please. And when my son saw we were at daycare he would throw a fit!! I mean uncontrollable. He was just 2...and couldn't verbalize all that good, so I was very concerned. He went about a month. When your kid can't tell u what's wrong...u don't know if their feed, mistreated, or anything. He's in model city now and absolutey loves it. It's an awesome place that has great teachers, would reccommend it to anyone.

Why not use other sitters instead of daycares,I would think a sitter baby sitting in her or your home would be best for any child..Home baby sitters can't have a group of kids so therefore your child would benefit..just saying...I would never trust my child or grand child in a daycare..

But u have to worry about that too. If I ever left my kid alone with a stranger in my home...your only seeing the part if them they choose to show. I'd def. have nanny cams everywhere!!! Think of " meet the parents!" lol...
