Ungrateful he is. I have to cook my own dinner. I hope his eyes get opened to all of the wonderful things you do for him. If not, smack him in the head with the skillet. Maybe after seeing the stars around his head, he will appreciate you for being the star you are.

It's a shame that spouse's don't treat one another the way they should. I'm so blessed to have never had that problem. My husband's as good as gold. That's why I've stayed married to him for 20 years.

no man is a man without a woman. they cant make it without them. look at the women who work and keep up their sorry azzs. they act like dictators and control freaks. if they do work you have to hear about it.

I just get so tired of his crap, sometimes he can be the biggest azz i've ever met...he never never treated me this way when we dated. The other day I came home from work, I had a horrible day to say the least...all I wanted was to talk to him about it & I was met with "Can't you see i'm watching T.V. & when are you gonna cook dinner?" Honestly, I started crying & he actually laughed & mocked me....I felt so so so low.
Keep in mind, he doesn't work...he's on SSD.

I respect women, I did not have a choice. I have 4 sisters and no brothers. Those hand me down clothes were rough. My friends always made fun of me. I kept telling them It was not a dress, It is a kilt.(The kilt is a knee-length garment with pleats at the rear, originating in the traditional dress of men and boys in the Scottish Highlands of the 16th century) I was not Irish, But Hey I had the look down, I went ever further by not wearing any underwear

That is all too true, Amy. Most people around here were raised in homes where respect was a foreign thing and as we all know, a person
that has no respect for themselves is not capable of respecting anyone else ( wife or otherwise ).

At least he doesn't put his 39 year old married daughter first instead of you. I am really fed up with this.

Men are hard-wired very differently than women. They can be all too direct and all too rude and not even recognize this in their behavior. I have been married 37 years. When my husband is rude to me, I confront him..."You're rude. Cut the crap and stop trashing me!" If he rolls his eyes sarcastically or makes a cynical statement. I confront him. He gets embarrassed and acknowledges his behavior, then mellows out. It's an exhausting process. I'm not sure why I have stayed with him. I guess its called "love."
