Hey all you guys can relive your glory days one last time and forget your daily failings in your own lives. Just think back how you ruled the school but crashed out after HS.

I take it you are a "never was" instead of a "has been".

oh ok, I guess your has been status will make it easier when you awake tomorrow and you realize you have graduated and work in a boring job and no one cares about how good your team was senior year. glory is fleeting

Just the same as most who didn't play any type of sports wouldn't you think? Yet again, isn't it better to be a has been than a never was? Something has to be going threw your mind to start a thread about it don't you think. Can you explain that?

sorry that you can not navigate the field of life as well as you could the high school football field. sorry that tomorrow no one will be talking about the "has been bowl".

How wrong you are! There were a few thousand people in attendance at the Alumni game. AND, I saw NO ONE leaving. It was a great game...and exciting until the end. One of the best football games I've seen in awhile. Btw, I know that one of the players from Pikeville is a practicing Dr., so there goes your theory about slamming the players. Second, MANY people were talking about the game the day after...and still are. If this game is played next year, I would bet on even a bigger crowd.

I doubt we'll ever see you on the field playing...It certainly was no place for a sniveling punk.

A few thousand? But its ok. I know in your dreams it was a stadium full of people chanting your name. In your mind do you believe that? Did you think you were in the halls at PHS once again? Did you believe you were out on the field on a Friday night once again? Were you transported back into the 90s or 2000s? I bet it was harsh waking up today and knowing those days are over for good. I have a good idea, next year why don't you let the game come down the final few seconds and throw a hail mary pass and win! You can pretend its whatever playoff game you lost. congratulations on the Dr. That is an impressive accomplishment. What about the others who never moved forward? I bet you had all kinds of guys who claimed they could have played at Auburn, Clemson, etc but didn't for whatever reason. I guess the Has Been Bowl would be good for next year. It would give you has beens something to look forward to and keep you from sinking into depression over your boring lives.

What an envious idiot you are! I saw a bunch of guys playing because they LIKE the game of football. The players had a blast, the fans were entertained, and it generated some revenue for the area. The organization that sponsored it does this all over the country. So apparently you've got a problem with thousands of H.S. graduates across the country that play in Alumni games. Maybe you should address your own insecurities instead of worrying about everyone else. What about the wimpy cowards that vent their frustrations on Topix? Hahaha...talk about BORING and COWARDLY!!!*LMAO*

insecurity? there was more than enough of that to go around in Pikeville. I am sure the players did have a blast. After all the other 364 days out of the year they hate everything they have become. some even try to kill their sorrows with booze. more than one of the group has said if he could go back to HS and never leave he would.

everything goes back to high school with you has beens. the issue is why are you so unhappy with your life that you try to relive what is surely the best years of your life. your lives suck. You hate it.

Man, it's amazing what people will do to try and bring back the times when Pikeville could beat Belfry on a football field.

The haters, or hater (and wouldn't that be truly sad), are still upset they didn't get a ribbon in the Junior High Science Fair because their little volcano didn't spew the lava like it should.
Listen, kid: if a bunch of adults want to get together and play a sport, risking injury, just for the love of it, why does that bother you? Do you still have an unrequited crush on one of these men? An unfulfilled desire, maybe? I don't like either school, but hell, I don't give one damn either way if they play or not. I do hope they had fun, and got to feel the joy of competition, and comradeship that former athletes really miss.
Hope the soreness is gone now, boys.

Hahaha...my life is great! But I do appreciate your concern. H.S. was the best time in most people's lives, as it should be. But there are those such as yourself that probably stayed home and played Nintendo while the rest of us went to ballgames, prom's..etc. Such a waste. You apparently have a lot of resentment, but there's no one to blame but yourself.
