Anyone ever lived there? Know anything about the people running the place? I was told they have a few 1 bedroom apartments for rent but don't really know anything about the place

I think they have a new manager...I have a friend that lives there and her a/c doesn't make cold air..it's really frustrating..but from what i hear just about everyone's a/c sucks unless they have a newer one

I have lived at RC for a little over a year now. I like the convenience of it's location, and like my 2 bedroom apt. I must agree that the 1 bedroom apts - unless you have a new A/C I hope you like it hot! We moved into a 2 bedroom about 4 months ago (thankfully before summer) and it's a whole lot better!

We do have a new manager, and since then the downstairs hallway has been repainted, new carpet in the elevators, more updates planned.

Personally I think the price is reasonable when compared with other places to rent in the area, especially being this close to the college/hospital. Personally I've found the management helpful. I would recommend coming for a visit to see if it's somewhere you might like to live.

I moved in Ridge Cliff a few months ago. Since I have lived here I have only had working a/c for about a week..and now its not working again. I can't even come into my apartment during the day, and at night its barely tolerable...Basically i sit beside of a fan all night long. Its miserable and apperantly i'm going to be forced to move out since nothing is going to be done about this problem

I feel your pain, I previously lived in a 1 bedroom and the heat was unbareable! The 2 bedroom is much better.

It depends on which one you get.

Hello, Everyone!
Now, for those of you who have an issue with the previous manager I would love to know why. I know her personally, and she is a wonderful lady who did anything she could to help those who lived in the building.
As far as maintenance, it is very difficult to find someone who will work that isn't on drugs and/or isn't a pervert! If you have any complaints about that call Franklin Asset Management because they are responsible, not your previous manager.
Have a lovely day.=)

What is the range for a 2 bedroom apartment there? Sorry, I had no idea that it could vary. I figured all 1BR was one price, all 2BR another. Any information is appreciated though. I would love to try to move in there.

This place is a nice apartment building. It is under new management and the cheapest an apartment goes there is 450 and can go all the way up to I think around 650. The sizes of the apartments are different too. No pets allowed and the manager is extremely nice and cooperative...just keep in mind it's a big building and only so many people work in maintanence. It's probably hard to get everything fixed the second you want it to be.

And I dont know what the people are talking about, waiting on a lease. Everyone I have ever known to have a apt there has never had a lease.

I have lived here for almost 4 years now. I had a one bedroom when i first moved in and paid $525... man i wish it had be 450. I currently live in a 2 bedroom and pay 645. Although the apartments need some fixing up they are in a reasonable condition for the age of the building. I do think the prices of the apartments are way to much especially in these hard times but if you have a job in town or go to college then its a good deal i suppose. If your looking for a place close to everything in down town at a semi reasonable price then ridge cliff is the place for you.

I lived in a one bed room apartment there in 2008. I did have a one year lease! The former manager was a bitchy old hag. She would sit at the main doors and watch you come and go. Not to mention how over priced it was!$545 for a one bed room apartment a month! I actually broke my lease because I couldn't take it there anymore.

the place never gets fixed up because they wont pay a man a decent wage to do all that needs to be done to the place to keep it looking and running right. i had an interview there a couple of months ago. the job required electrical, plumbing, painting,d rywall, carpentry, grounds keeping, cleaning and a few more tasks.plus you would have to be on call 24/7 and your number posted in the lobby so folks could call at all hours of the night.all that for 8 dollars an hour.when i declined the job and the lady asked why i didn't want it i told her i could make more working in a restaurant or grocery store.she said that 8 was all the company would pay but there was a chance of getting a 25 cent raise later down the road.i politely told her that you get what you pay for and left.unless they decide to pay a maintenance man more money the place will continue to fall apart.

When you move in to any apartment unless prior arrangements are made you sign a 1 years lease of the apartment you move into. If you move out before the 1 year you will NOT get your deposit back for lease violation.
