Seems the accusations that the IRS was assisting the left to win the election, is losing credibility by the day. Recent documents are showing the IRS was also targeting progressive groups as well.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/06/...

"Washington (CNN)- The Internal Revenue Service targeted liberal groups as well as conservatives seeking tax-exempt status, a Democratic congressman charged on Monday after the agency acknowledged the inappropriate practice continued until last month.

Rep. Sander Levin said the term "progressives" was included on IRS screening lists of applicants for tax-exempt status made available to Congress on Monday."

As reported by CNN and believed by complete retards as the dillwad poster.

Regardless, who in the hell gave them the right to target ANYBODY or ANY Group? Even IF your claim was true, the only thing that's lost credibility is the Obama Admin. AND the IRS. And again, you NEVER had any to start with. You lame-brain.

Reported by many news agencies, not just CNN. The rest of your post is just drivel, and really deserves no further response.

Of course! YOU would think that ANY attack on our rights by the Ovomit Admnin is drivel, and like the idiot you are, you condone and defend it.

You really should apply for some type of Public Relations job with the Ovomit Admin. By the looks of his approval ratings, he needs EVERY moron he can get to defend him. Hell, feel free to list me as a reference.

I've not once supported the IRS, or what the NSA has been doing. Nor have I defended it. This topic though is to point out that the IRS didn't only target right wing groups, so the theory that the IRS helped the left win in 2012 is nothing but BS. Does that make what the IRS has done right? No, no it doesn't. Does the IRS scandal fall on Obamas shoulders as his responsibility? No, but good luck getting morons like you to understand that.

That's just it the Obama administration had nothing to do with what the IRS was doing. Its all been explained as to why they did it the way they did by a conservative supervisor. Sen. Cummings has already stopped the right wing lies with the documents of their interview. Remember he asked Issa to release them all and Issa would not because the interviews prove him and you all wrong.

But the thing is, if this had happened under the Bush administration and the targets had been democrats, the media and liberals would be asking for Bush to be impeached.

Also, even though some liberal groups were targeted, their processing did not take nearly as long. The conservative groups had to run though more hoops and their submissions took much longer. Even CNN reported that.

Actually Mel, look into it, it did happen under Bush. Personally I feel no political group should be given tax exempt status. It simply walks to fine a line, in the rules of tax exemption.

My having voted for Obama, in no way means I support every decision he's made, nor does it mean I support what the NSA, and IRS has been doing. I was against the Patriot Act, and the NDAA when they were first created, and I'm against them now. That doesn't mean I disagree with everything that Obama has done either. The fact that I can support him as president, and still disagree with some of his actions is what you're failing to understand. This is what makes your point invalid now, and invalid when you first made it. Again I'm not surprised you need such a basic concept explained to you, it seems to be a reoccurring theme with you.

What I fail to understand, is how you continue to support such a failure. He has been successful at getting half the country on welfare, killing coal, creating TRILLIONS in debt, controlling health care, and advancing homosexuality...that's been his presidency.

As evidenced by his sinking approval rating, slowly but surely, more and more of you re-treads are catching on. Apparently, you're just more stubborn and hair-brained than most.

What you are, is known as a "Monday Morning Quarterback". At first, you defended Benghazi, and you damn well KNOW you did. Then later,(after your liberal media caught on) you backed off of it. The posts are still there, don't make me find and reference them. Your FIRST reaction is to defend and support EVERYTHING Ovomit does....until the wheels fall off....then you re-think and re-tract your position. Now THAT'S the re-occurring theme here.

Let me get this straight, you voted TWICE for "Transparency" and "Change". You got the "Change" alright...."Transparency ", well, not so much....LMAO

Funny how Lois Lerner only apologize for the targeting of tea party type groups. Why did she not include the progress groups?

More digging needs to be done. Apparently there is now 12 different groups pointed out that were targeting tea party groups. So cincy wasn't the only office.

As the lawsuit now grows to include 41 conservative groups targeted for harassment and abuse by Obama's IRS, Democrats and the news media continue falling over each other to downplay, dismiss and bury the increasingly scandalous revelations.
