Just wanted to let some of you know that Jamey Johnson....the guy coming to the EXPO for New Years....is 100% AGAINST Coal Mining. So...any of you miners, miners families, and just general supporters of Coal...may want to think about this before attending his show.

He constantly associates himself and performs with the likes of music artist who are campaigning against coal mining especially Kid Rock who is the KING of them all in being against mountain top removal by performing a duet with him and that says more to me than any link I could ever provide or read.

NASHVILLE — A group of music figures has begun a campaign against mountaintop coal removal.

The campaign, Music Saves Mountains, is sponsored by the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Gibson Foundation. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a senior attorney with the council, addressed those attending a meeting Monday night.

Those at the gathering included Emmylou Harris, Randy Travis, Big Kenny Alphin, Dierks Bentley, Delbert McClinton,Jamey Johnson, Kid Rock and J.D. Souther.

Harris said protection is needed for the Appalachian mountains, where country music was born and is celebrated in song.

Well heres your article and if you agree with him Go freeze in the dark,Coal keeps the lights on..

I don't know if Jamey Johnson supports coal or not, but I do agree that before people in Eastern Ky throw their money at someone, we should know who supports us and who does'nt.

For the record it's strip mining he's against, doesn't care one way or the other about deep mining. Use your own judgement in weather you want to give this man your money and support.

The whole thing with celebrities thinking they are also politicians is a joke anyway. I could give a rat's ass about the opinions of Madonna, Angelina Jolie, or the rest of them. Hollywood people are crazy as bat shit themselves.

The problem is, is that we continue to buy their Cd's, go to their movies etc. They sit back and make millions for doing next to nothing. We all watch as most of them have marital problems, drug problems, legal problems, and everything else that they do in their messed up lives. But, this is all part of the entertainment value they give us. So, we continue to buy into the garbage they are selling, and they are the one's that end up with all the money. This is what affords somebody like Kid Rock the opportunity to tell somebody what is and what isn't right for the planet? Give me a break. My advice for him is to cut your hair, take a shower, and get over that hepatitis carrying, dried up old nasty ex baywatch, bad acting ,half brained, Brett Michaels/Tommy Lee sex tape, 55 gallons worth of silicone bad boob job skank.

It was a very bad joke and now you've started a rumor that will take on a life it's own. You inserted Jamey Johnson's name in the artice that you found and passed it off as the truth. That was lame.

Jamey Johnson's name is not in that article! I just read it online for myself. What is the point in trying to smear his name? And for the record, the Music Saves Mountain campaign is only about mountain top removal---nothing to do with any other form of coal mining at all. If you actually read this article its about a bill thats trying to get passed in Tennessee and polluting of rivers there.
Just because Jamey sang a song with Kid Rock doesn't mean anything.
Here's the link, see for yourself

Heres another link about the bill in Tennessee

It is sad that someone would take an article and add someone's name just to get crap started. Maybe "coal miner's daughter" should find a better way to entertain herself. You should feel pretty stupid for starting this rumor!!

Listen - maybe you should read. This is a joke post. The first poster added Jamey Johnson's name to the article. Jamey Johnson has NOT made a stand for or against mountain top removal. He does not want us jobless. Everyone needs to calm down about Jamey Johnson. He is not part of the Music for the Mountains group. IT WAS A JOKE POST! Not very funny.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Libra

You're in an idealistic mood today and only want to see the best in other people. This is typical Libran behaviour, because you aren't good at facing up to harsh reality at the best of times. Today, you're ready to believe that someone is a candidate for sainthood or that they're the best thing that's ever happened to you, regardless of whether it's true or not.
