Only when you dump your ego, can you move on to a higher level. People who carry their ego too close tend to do stupid things to others, often causing more harm in the long run than the immediate satisfaction of "getting even." However, if in your course of "getting even" you should make careful selection of your intended victim; make sure it is the only victim in your game of deceit--perhaps you should have chosen more wisely and only selected one victim, as too many victims chosen for your scheme can kick your ass.
Choose your battles wisely, and forgo the ego--rat-bast*f*cker!
