Did u know that if u call up there at that store you are on a third party recording witch is highly illegal Tony Castle (manager of the store has took it up on his self to be a snoop I do not appreciate being recorded personal info and I'm going to take this higher so if u have called up at the Mazda store I'n the last year you are due a settlement that is against a privacy act and u have to acknowledge the person before they are recorded Kirby Walters is not going to take this all so well and there for is a written statement that u are being recorded by one off the employers .so contact a lawyer asp if u have called or gave any info over the phone at Mazda store

In 2003, my husband and I were in the process of purchasing a vehicle at Walter's Mazda Mitsubishi. We were already approved, all we had to do was sign on the dotted line. We asked the salesperson if they could hold a check for up to ten days, because our down payment was in our credit union account, which was not local, and we had to be issued the check. The salesperson said yes.

The next day, I took my dad with me to pick it up. The manager told me they could not hold the check, and was very rude about it. My dad told me not to worry, there were other places to buy a car, since I was already approved. The manager got so furious, he started screaming at my dad, and asked him to step outside. This idiot actually wanted to fight my dad over a car!

I bought one there and offered a down payment that morning to hold it while they did some service work that had to be done. I was told that they knew me and didn't need a dep. since they knew I'd be there that same evening. Later they called to take my credit app for the money. I told them I didn't need them to finance me because I had the cash to pay. The girl didn't sound to happy when she hung up. But I really didn't need to finance and pay interest when I had the cash. So when I got off work and went to pick my vehicle up it was sitting there with a much higher price on the window and a sold sticker slapped over the price. The salesman met me at the door with a big story about how it had be accidentally sold to someone else. They had told me that the vehicle wouldn't even be set on the lot that it would be in service all day til I got there to pick it up. So how did it accidentlly get sold from a service bay. I guess whoever got it was willing to pay more than they had sold it to me for and they saw dollar signs. I think I could have made them gave me my vehicle since there were several witnesses to the verbal deal and I was there at the promised time but I didn't want the hassle over a vehicle and they lost all my future business (which is a new truck every couple years) and any used vehicle that catches my eye. And all my immediate family's business so that couple dollars they made on that deal cost them dearly in my book.

I will not purchase a car from any Walter's lot. All they do is screw you. They know they are the only dealership in town (well the biggest and with more selections), so they up their prices because they know most people don't want to drive far to buy a car. It's pitiful. Unless you know them personally, you will not get treated good or get a good deal. If you look at the price of, oh lets say an F150, at Walter's and then go to Paul Miller Ford in Lexington, the price difference can be anywhere from 8,000 to 15,000 dollars. They used to be pretty good at handling business back in the day, but now they are not. Walter's, quit screwing over the people around you. It's not fair. Your business is gonna go way down if you don't start getting better management, better sales team, and better prices (and deals).

I talked to a lawyer yesterday after seeing this post and he has confirmed that anyone given out info at this store and was recorded and had no knowledge of this is due sum type off settlement it is against the law and can be used for identity theft and for other uses ..and needs to action

looking for a mobile home I found one in London,ky...stopped in at claytons.....found the same one...."Come on in we will make you a better deal'....$4000.00 more ...could not beat their deal....asked why is cost more...because we have to haul them farther....i like to spend money locally but if i can get a better deal i will go there....buy my cars in huntington..we r on to you pike and floyd county...see you at Dutch Millers

You should try Mann Toyota they have a new manager that does a great job. He bent over backwards to take my business from Walter's. The Walter's sales manager actually called when I was in Mann's showroom. He ask how much I was paying for Camry. I told him and he said I was lying. I'm driving my new Camry from Mann. They took care of me.

I bought a Tacoma last month. The day I bought it one of the contractor's that built a Walters building was there buying a Avalon. That new manager made a big deal about that. It was kinda tacky but the contractor told me that a Walters tried to undercut him on all his work and after that tried to overcharge him on the car by $3000.
