what this proves is someting everyone already knew about the USA but now it's undeniable. our government of democrats and republicans can't be trusted or counted on and it's not just obama. we've been this way for a long time. ukraine is now wishing they kept t heir nukes instead of trusting us for help. pay attention japan.you have no nukes and china has it in for you. pay attention israel when we try to talk you into giving the pals their on state or europe tries to talk youinto giving up your nukes to set an example. pay attention if you're an ally of the USA. of course we c an't count on our allies either. the kurds foundout after desert storm they could not count on us. we enouraged them to fight saddam, once they did we turned our backs on them. suckers!

No dogs in that fight, the people of Crimea are Russian and will vote in a few weeks to be part of Russia. It is no more illegal for Russia to protect their people in Crimea than it was for us to attack Iraq, for what? WMD's they never had. We need to keep our damn nose out of this one and we should stop the corporations from selling natural gas to Europe and rive our gas prices our of sight. We have been at war since 2001. We are bleed to death, we are broke. F Ukraine, it's Europe's GD problem.

Republicans say Obama is weak because he is focused on the policy of this nation. My take is thank God he is. I am tired of taking our tax dollars and giving it to losers who will stab us in the back.

the problem is the USA and nato basically promised the ukraine protection if they gave up their nukes and they did and as usual we didn't keep our word. don't get me wrong, I don't want us involved in this mess either. I'm just saying the USA is not good for their word and can't be trusted. as far as obama goes. it's his fault this happened in a way. he kept drawing lines in the sand and daring people to cross them and his weakness gave putin an incentive to call his bluffs. he's weak. bush was dangrous but he was a loose cannon and obama is dangerous because he invites trouble due to his weak posturing.

I'm hoping this all works out for the USA in the long run. I think isolation is looking good. it's time for us to stop being the world's policeman but obama is the kind of person that wants to be the world's policeman but carries a club made of that foam junk nerf footballs are made of instead of something solid ;) he's weak but runs off at the mouth anyways. that's inviting problems. he tried to get us in the middle of syria's civil war a few months ago on al queda's side.

and obama has not focused on the wellbeing of this nation. he has catered to illegals and destroyed more jobs. he even suggested prolonged detention for americans, that's scary. americans accused of being terrorist held without a trial. bush did awful and pretty much destroyed this nation and obama is finishing off what bush didn't destroy. obama is helping build a police state, attacking gun rights. destroying our rights in the name of safety and security.

Repeat: What is going on in Ukraine is none of the USA's business. It is Russia's business, just like a collapse of Mexico into chaos would be the USA's business.

In 1913-14, the USA was in exactly that situation. Mexico had broken up into a multi-sided revolution/civil war. It was spilling over the U.S. border. In January 1913 Mexican artillery fired across the border and hit the town of Presidio, Texas. Stray fire from fighting in Mexico also hit and killed and wounded Americans in El Paso and Laredo.

One hundred years ago today, U.S. troops were on the move to the border, preparing to invade Mexico and restore order if the need arose. There was an international fleet of warships gathered off the Gulf coast of Mexico - most were British, but it included two German cruisers, a French battleship, a Dutch cruiser, and others. A similar fleet on the Pacific coast included British, French, German, and Japanese warships. President Wilson warned the foreign powers in no uncertain terms to stay out of the Mexican situation. It was America's problem and the U.S. would handle it.

Ukraine is Russia's problem. Let the Russians handle it.

as I stated the USA is not good for living up to the agreements it signed on to with ukraine. I'm not saying we should get invovlved. I don't want world war 3 over that country. what I am saying is that our influence in the world is in decline which might be a good think and I am saying our so called allies are being shown we can not be counted on. which is fine with me because I am sure we can't count on them either. what I am saying is the USA's day of imperialism are coming to an end. there might be a new world power soon. I'm just saying we are in total decline, we talk like we have all this might and power and it's becoming clear we do not. but like I said that's fine with me. I think our days of being the world's policeman need to be over. the problem with someone like obama is he wants to hold onto that power over the world and it's time is coming to an end. he's gonna get us in deep crap talking big and then not backing it up.we are seen as a mother that warns it child not to do something loudly so everyone can hear and counts to 3 and then does nothing when the counting is over. we are like somone that pounds their chest and says you better not cross this line I drew or else... t hen when the person takes the challange we just draw another line. lol noboy takes the USA serious. but like I said I hope our presence in the middle east and europe declines and we find something better to do with our time and whatever strength we MIGHT have left is used for our own good. all I am saying is britian was once a world power, now they're a shell of their former self but they still want to be taken serious. we're headed toward the same route. the world is gonna change big time and very soon. when we interjet ourselves and try to take the lead in every world affair like we love to do people are gonna be like "what's the USA doing still talking smack, they bring nothing to the table." see we won't be able to admit to ourselves our days of bein a powerhouse earth shaker are almost over but we still be arrogant and try to stick our long nose in other people's affairs and obama loves to stick in his nose in other nation's problems like with syria's civil war. it kills him that nobody takes him serious.

one bad thing will come as our reach over the world decreases. our leaders... obama, hillary, mccain, romney, lindsey graham, feinstein, john kerry, michelle bachman and so on all have a impluse to demostrate their power and show off their authority. when they can't use it on the rest of the world they will still want someone to kick around and they'll use it more and more on us here at home. watch and see. authority loves to flex it's muscles. it hates to be told "no". when they can't make the world obey they're gonna do more and more to make us jump and ask how high when they say so. we already have the foundation of a police state laid down. bush poured some of it with the "war on terror" obama has added more floors onto it during his terms. the next president will want to build more onto it no matter if they republican or democrat. the military state is coming. it's pretty much already here but it's gonna get worse and worse as time passes. anyone that thinks obama is a good president is a complete moron, the same goes for people asking if we miss bush as if he was a great leader and the populace of this nation is getting to be more easily led over a cliff.

The "military state" is not coming. The U.S. Army is now the smallest that it has been since 1939! Nor is a new "World Power" coming.

What is happening is the U.S.A. is adjusting to a multi-polar world in which it is one of several Great Powers: USA, Russia, China, the EU, and India. Each will have its own sphere of influence, just like the European Great Powers and the USA did in the 100 years before World War 1. Problem complicating it is the fact that a lot of Americans are still stuck in a bi-polar USA/USSR Cold War mindset. That mindset is outmoded. Another group of religious people are stuck on a bogus "The End Times are Near" theme. That is nothing new either. They've been adjusting the End Times "Bible prophecy" scenario to fit historical events since the Middle Ages.

As for the "war on terror" and the laws and practices associated with it, the backlash has already begun. The Patriot Act and all the rest will go the way that the Espionage Act and its Sedition Act amendments did after World War 1.

backlash lol you seem smart but I have to disagree. at least you know about sedition acts. that shows you'e more informed than 80 or 90 percent of the population. ask most people you either know or run into what the sedition acts were and they won't have a clue. there is backlash but not nearly enough to make a differance. we already have a nation that worship the flag and chants freedom constantly but doesn't care about their freedoms being eroded.all you gotta do is call somethg freedom or dress it up in the flag and people eat it up. the only hope we have is the gun culture. that's about it. look at what the police do and get away with all the time too and people defend them no matter what. people think if you don' let the cops do anything they want you'll have chaos in the streets. beat ya, shoot you to death... people will say "well it's a hard job you know". lol when the government or cops do something corrupt you'll see some outrage across the nation for a few weeks then it's back to businesss as usual. the patriot act aint going nowhere soon. most people don't seem to mind it. it makes them feel safer. the war on terror is the face our leaders put on a massie security state. if we do have more terrorism there will be more powers grabbed up. american are either too busy working to make end meet or don't even care. the ones that do care are considered paranoid by the general population. ask yourself why people vote for the same trash from both parties we are thrown, the same republicans and democrats that keep being recycled over and over. they'll even stand in line for hours to get picture wth them. I'd only stand in a line for hours to get obama or bush so I could tell them what I think of them, not wrap my arm around them and hug up for a photo or autograph. even the troops which often disagee with their policies and constanty have to worry about their pay being frozen while the politians that cause the problems and still get pid rush up to meet and hug them like they're rockstars. this nation if full of people that is like a child that has been conditioned to love and defend their abusers. it's kinda sad.

it's gonna be a military police state, it already is. look at the prisons. full of non violent offenders. you get more time for growing pot in your closet than molesting a child it seems. we live in a country where predators roam free and non violent people go to prison all the time because of laws that are counter to the bill of rights. I don't trust rand paul, I liked ron paul but not rand. he's a poser but he had to almost make obama swear to not use drones to kill americans on our soil. obama didn't want to come right out and say that kind of stuff won't ever happen. gun rights under attack too. peope using school shootings and calling semi auto rifles "assault rifles" to take away more rights. they're not fully auto bu the media and people like obama and the gun hater presen them as if they are full auto machine guns. the push back agaisnt the gun hating stuff is the only hope I've seen for america.
