The stock market and 401K don't mean a lot to people that can't even find a job or those having to work 2 part time jobs. The stock market and 401K doesn't put food on the table, pay the bills and buy gas to get to work either. Don't tell these people the economy is booming or they might just hurt you.

You can say Clinton built a bubble all you want. The thing is had Clinton stayed in office that bubble would still be growing. Duh-bya busted that bubble that was a strong economy.
But again, this is all irrelevant when it comes to Mitch, stay on topic. Mitch is a failure and more and needs to go.
Read the first sentence you posted right here and think about it. This is a Capitalist country NOT Communist. That is a Communist statement if I ever heard one.

That's right, the stick market and 401k doesn't directly put food on the table, jobs do, jibs that our people would have if Mitch had not been a lame duck for 30 years and done zero to prepare for the inevitable collapse of the coal industry.

The stock market and 401k are good indicators of a healthy economy however. If Mitch and the goons stopped impeding progress the jobs would follow.

ListeN mr. Make your on stuff up , you republicans should be thanking bill for giving you a choice and helping you. Tell the republicans to pay the Americans a good wage and not go to china. Ihavegotyougood on this argument and it looks bad on the republicans. Americans vote for your interest not the one percent.
Perhaps if we had a business friendly government, no one would be taking their business and jobs to another country. We have the highest corporate tax rate of any country... Obama is daily adding new regulations and now he has added his monster Obamacare to their woes. I don't blame Republicans or Democrats (you do know that all businessmen are not Republicans) for taking their business some where else. Our economy could be booming and the people could be working good paying jobs right now if we had sensible leadership in Washington D.C. who had the good sense to cut the tax rate and cut out a lot of the ridiculous regulations and get rid of Obamacare.

For your information, the House of Representatives have passed jobs bill after jobs bills and sent the to the Senate. Harry Reid has shelved them all and refuses to allow them to be brought before the Senate. The man is not only just senile, he has mental problems. The Democrats in the Senate are even furious with him because he is obstructing operations of the whole legislative branch. It's not only jobs bills. It's everything. He gets up there on the floor and makes big long whiny speeches about stuff that have nothing to do with the job of the Congress and refuses to let them do their job. I don't know what they legitimately can do but they need to do something...and do it soon.

Harry Reid's Senate Blockade

A case study in the world's greatest dysfunctional body.

It's important to understand how much Mr. Reid's tactics have changed the Senate. Not too long ago it was understood that any Senator could get a floor vote if he wanted it. The minority party, often Democrats, used this right of amendment to sponsor votes that would sometimes put the majority on the spot. It's called politics, rightly understood. This meant the Senate debated national priorities and worked its bipartisan will. Harry Reid's Senate has become a deliberate obstacle to democratic accountability.

Is it election time again and he is just blowing smoke, it's time for people to send him home. He has nothing for eastern Kentucky, and his actions have showed that. I would like to know how match created a fortune worth tens of millions of dollars. He has worked for the goverment for over thirty years. If you added his salary up for thirty years , it wouldn't be five million, so how do get to be worth thirty million plus. 30 million plus !!!!!!!!! Folk's match has been working for hisself the whole time. Republican or democrat , it's time for him to go , it's just wrong !!!!!!!
The question is what has Mitch done against COAL? Answer: NONTHING. Obama wants a rubber stamp to help him finish destroying what little coal mining there is.

How was Mitch suppose to know 30 years ago that Obama was going to come along and bankrupt the coal industry? He's not a prophet!

Speaking of impeding progress. the Republican congress has sent jobs bill after jobs bill to the Senate only to have Harry refuse to allow the Senate vote on them. Jobs will never follow until the two branches can work together and Harry won't allow it.

If the stock market is a good indicator then the economy should be booming and you should not be complaining about needing jobs.

Are you agreeing or disagreeing with Obama? I agree with his statements. If you listen to his statements you will learn that he never said he would bankrupt the coal industry but that if they could not comply with clean air standards they would indeed go bankrupt through their own efforts of noncompliance. Coal is the dirtiest of all energy sources and if the carbon pollution of life's necessities, air and water, cannot be eliminated by the industry, coal becomes a nonviable source when many other clean sources are available.

Yeah, how could Mitch have known 30 years ago that the 21st century would bring so much change to the world and a black guy would be President. Just goes to show, Mitch lacks foresight. Did he really think his little dominion would go on forever? Did he really think no one would finally notice he does not work for his constituents but for corporate cronies who have ulterior motives for redesigning our country? Mitch has become an obstructionist and refuses to allow cooperation in Congress. The jobs bills Republicans have sent to the Senate only provide for cutting taxes for corporations, especially the oil conglomorates under the guise that will create jobs. No real substantial means of job creation on their part. Harry Reid is only asking for a bill that will actually provide for real job creation. The stock market does not indicate the health of the economy overall, just that Mitch's wealthy handlers are making beaucoups of money. HaHaHaHa! What a fool you are!

Sounds to me like Obama just took full credit for the promised the bankrupting of the coal industry.

“I was the first to call for a 100 percent auction on the cap and trade system, which means that every unit of carbon or greenhouse gases emitted would be charged to the polluter,” Obama continued.“That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants that are being built, that they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted down caps that are being placed, imposed every year.

“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”

Cutting taxes might bring some jobs back to this country as well as keeping some from being shipped overseas. I doubt that it much matters now and it's not going to happen anyway. We are too far down to be able to make a comeback anyway.

As it should be. We only have one earth to live in and it's time to take care of it since we now have viable cleaner cheaper better alternatives to coal.

Anyone with half a brain knew coal would die 30 years ago in the 80s when they determined that acid rain was being caused by the sulphur emitted into the atmosphere from coal burning power plants.

Then more and more evidence mounted about the damages burning coal was causing to the environment over the years.

So, you didn't know coal was going to die huh? Well aren't you special.

If we get idiots like Mitch out of the way, things like this will be possible:

http://blog.petflow.com/this-invention/#BIgrh...

and to take it a step farther, imagine the above with the technology from this built into it:

http://www.amazon.com/UPGRADED-Wireless-Charg...

finally to tie it all together, electric cars with the same technology built into it.

Reliance on fossil fuels drops to near zero. Affordable free energy once the infrastructure is built.

But yeah, Obama is so bad for wanting to get rid of coal and take care of the environment and move FORWARD.....

Thanks Mitch
