Hey did y'all know that one of our greatest presidents of all time was inbred?

Thats right a bonafide U.S president was inbred. And he wasn't even southern!! Figure that one out.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was Inbred. The greatest president to ever be elected to office (Other than George Washington) was inbred. His mother and father were sixth cousins! And it don't end there folks, not by a long shot. He,(Franklin Roosevelt) married HIS Fifth cousin! Man talk about keeping it in the family. I have studied the policies and the life of Roosevelt while in office. But I had never actually studied his background much and I was a amazed when I found out that he was inbred.

There's hope for the South yet aint they? If one of our presidents can be inbred and yet be celebrated and honored...... Then why caint Bubba and Betty Joe get it on!

Cause Bubba and Betty Joe are brother and sister...a lot closer than 6th or 5th cousins. And just because the courts separated them as young'ens...blood is blood.

I'm not trying to be hurtful to anybody, but I would assume that there are a lot of people around southeastern Kentucky who are inbred in some way and don't even know it. A friend of mine from here in Pike County found out just a few months ago while researching her family tree that her parents are 4th cousins. She is actually having a hard time dealing with that and has only told me and a couple people in her family about it. Don't try to guess who it is, you'll never figure it out.

Well that aint my point. I know someone may unknowingly marry another person that they are related to. But the mighty Roosevelt's KNEW it! It aint like they woke up one morning looked at each other and said "Holy SH!T were related" They had prior knowledge. Thats either inbreeding or real sophisticated planned parenting!

No wonder he had Polio! He was inbred.

Yes, Franklin and Eleanor were distant cousins. VERY distant--fifth cousins once removed. (His fourth great-grandfather, Nicholas Roosevelt, 1658-1742, was her fifth ggf.) In fact, she was Teddy Roosevelt's niece, and I believe that Teddy gave her away at the wedding.

Well Mr. Franklin had more than a clue he had facts. So did his inbreeding mother and father. As a matter of a fact Franklin was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution!(Thats folks who's forefathers fought in the American revolution) He and his family had a very detailed account of his family tree all the way back to the American revolution and further. And they had this knowledge way before they decided to get hitched to their kin folks!(Can you say sick) And even while knowing that they were kin still they played "Poke the Bunny" with their relatives! WOOOO WEEE that's some inbreeding of the highest level aint it?

Oh and by the way I know several of my fifth and sixth cousins! And I aint ever even dated one of 'em.

I may be a hillbilly, and eat chicken with my fangers, but I got a little respect about me.
