It was huge.. Growling, took twenty people and over 4 hours to capture the beast. WHAT IF OUR KIDS WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT PLAYING they would have been killed.

Ok wait a minute, you mean to tell me that there was a wild lion at Cedar Creek? All I can say is that if someone has kept one as a pet, they very last thing they should have done is released it into the wild. Im sure someone would have gladly relocated the animal. But they instead chose release it into our community? God Bless all the people that helped do the right thing.

Maybe it was released by accident when the flood came. When I was younger there was lion over around Jenkins that was kept as a pet.

that explains a lot. They were having some problems on Harless creek and blamed it on a werewolf. Even rumored it was going over into Marrowbone. I even heard it downed some young man up there and was going to eat him. Took one bite and about overdosed on oxycontin. They said it could barely walk for a week. I bet that is why it didn't attack those boys, it didn't like that buzz.

Lol that lion travled a long way over
to island creek I will say I have heard of a sighting on rightfork of island creek said it was a giant cat like a panther I'm guessing it
may be true now huh? As for werewolfs we will not discuss that. Also I have heard of black bear sightings in the area. I can't believe there hasn't been a huge beaver sighting yet I am sure there's a few around here.

look up the thread, the thought werewolves were on marrowbone, vampires on lower johns creek, big foot up toward the lake, a tiger at the overlook, a lion around pikeville. This place is flat out dangerous.

It probably had cubs so there will be more, it's not unusual for there to be lions in the area. I know there was one photographed at Stonecrest Golf Course a while back.
