Manchester doctor pleads not guilty
A Manchester doctor accused of producing child pornography pleaded not guilty Tuesday in federal court in Lexington.
Dr. Kishore Kumar Jadhav is facing federal charges that he employed and videotaped nude teenage girls.
New details were released about the alleged crime, and we want to warn you that some information in this story is graphic and viewer discretion is advised.
The details are startling, some so graphic that we chose to leave out portions of the sworn statement by an FBI agent.
The ten page statement centers around Dr. Kishore Jadhav who worked in Manchester at a private family practice for years, but now he is accused of employing teenage girls and producing child pornography.
"Everybody that I knew that went and saw him, nobody had anything bad to say about him. It's just a big shock to everybody around here," said James Jeffrey.
He never saw Dr. Jadhav, but was getting ready to take his daughter there.
"I have an eleven year old daughter, and this is scary to think a person of trust like that. Where do you turn?" said Jeffrey.
The investigation started in March with a complaint to Kentucky State Police that Dr. Jadhav paid two teenage girls to take a survey.
The investigation was quickly turned over to federal authorities.
The statement goes on to say that the two female victims were let in the back door of Dr. Jadhav's office. The girls were taken to different rooms where he hand wrote something on a piece of paper stating they agreed to take the survey.
The agent says Dr. Jadhav instructed the girls to take off their clothes and asked them questions about their sexual history before inappropriately touching them. He then took pictures of the girls with his iPhone.
In April, authorities seized and forensically examined Dr. Jadhav's iPhone and iPad.
No files were found of the two victims previously mentioned, but investigators did find video of a third victim.
That victim told investigators that Dr. Jadhav asked her to take part in a medical study to test a female's ability to have an orgasm and said the doctor had visited her home more than once.
"It makes you think twice about who you take your youngins around and who you have around them," said Jeffrey.
All three victims said Dr. Jadhav paid them to take part in this alleged medical study.
We tried to contact Dr. Jadhav's attorney for comment, but our calls were not returned.
A trial date has been set for July 9th in London Federal Court.
