See.. Like I said... It's all according to what you're looking for... Henry is great! He was my gymnastics coach for years!(now in my 40's) He has a lot of experience.. But, if your child is 2 3 4 5 years old... Then they need someone to teach them the basics 1st.. It all comes down to what you're looking for.. And, who is right for your child.. Not everyone can be gold metalist... Some just want to learn basic gymnastics.. Especially at such a young age.. But, hats of to Henry and his crew.. For doing such a wonderful job with the really talented gymnasts' out there.. I'm just glad there is more than one place to choose from.. I finally found out which place is right for my daughters and sticking with them.. no names needed..

At her own place I would guess, and running and minding her own business. It's ironic that you use the user name "pokie".
It says a lot for you. Don't try to be so cute and smart and degrade someone else.
I bet your legs fly over your head a lot too and I bet it's not throwing a back handspring.
You could lay on your back for a month straight and not even come close to Dana. She married an old man for some money.

I don't think Dana which runs Flip Flops is married.. I believe she just lives with him... And, doesn't have kids either. I think. Maybe that's why she yells at the kids at her gym. She did that to my child and we were out of there and NEVER going back!

This is so not true. My GD goes there and the owner is there every time. She has improved a lot sine going to flip flop - gets more one-on-one attention than she did at the Y.

The best place in my opinion IS KPT

They are nice certified and know what they are doing & have been doing it for quiet some time.

However Flip Flop Gymnastics has girls 15 and 16 spotting girls that are not certified.

They are also rude and some girls there just absolutely think they are "better" than everyone else. That place is a JOKE!

And not to mention every time I have been there I have heard bad language come from some girl that they call "Charlie"

KPT ALLLL THE WAY!

JBN is the best place to take your children. Mrs. Tammy and her staff are excellent. They are so positive and full of energy. You never have to worry about bad language, or bad attitudes. All the parents are friendly and are always welcome in the gym. I could not ask for a better role model for my daughter. As far as teaching skills, they could be no better. Tammy leads by example and would not ask her students to do something they were not comfortable with. She and her staff tumble with the students. My daughter is becoming an exceptional gymnast thanks to the hard work and patients that Mrs. Tammy and the other teachers. As long as JBN is open, and my daughter wants to attend, we will stay with it.

Please give me an example of 3 ring circus. Tell me what they do there that make it seem that way. Explain this one to me. Please. B/C I take my 2yr. daughter there during the day and they are VERY structered there. Give example instead of just calling out names.

gymnastics is not all about learning back hand springs. especially for the smaller girls. you teach them basics. they are young!! if you think you can do any better w/ a young child as young as 2 years old..go for it. they dont just jump on a trampoline. gymnastics for kindergym not only slowly teaches them gymnastics. but also to share, eye hand coordination, discipline and more!!!! there are many other station such as cartwheel stations balance beam which teach balance. you cant just teach a 2 year old back bends and back hand springs when they are that young..if you knew your anatomy..usually until they are 4 or 5 their arms are not long enough to be taught to even do a back bend to be off their head. you start from simple things..then they learn as they go. and its a fun way to teach kindergym w/ the little ones and i know a lot of them enjoy it. they are only 2-4 remember!!
