Wow ….. the fruitloops have totally lost it. Completely. Lost all sense of reality. Remember the times (there’s been numerous times) I’ve said the new Republican Party will vote for ‘anyone’ that says words like guns and a few others?

Well ….. a candidate in West Virginia did that very thing and the Tea Party Republicans did just as I said. They voted for the person who said the magic Teabagger words and they did it (voted) without bothering to check who was saying them.

So the candidate won the Republican primary for the Legislature last Tuesday. She beat the Republican who has previously held that office in West Virginia (he didn't use the magic words as much as she did).

The fruitloops ….. er ….. I mean Republican voters ….. didn’t think it worth checking pass the word ‘guns‘. Or check to see that the candidate had run half as a dare from friends and half as a joke. But when she saw she as doing well in the ratings she started seriously running just to see what would happen.

She found out ….. she won.

I would put her political history as an example of how loony the Republican voters have become ….. but alas, she has no political history ….. because …..(drum roll please)….. because she’s only seventeen years old and still in high school.

Yep ..... seventeen years old and still in high school.

She could run due to her going to be eighteen by the time she takes office if she wins against the Democrat candidate in the main election.

A cool fact ….. if she wins she will be the youngest state lawmaker in West Virginia history. I'm not going to look it up but she's probably the youngest to win a primary.

I’m happy she won. It’s going to be interesting to see how she does if she wins the office. Even a seventeen year old girl (eighteen when she takes office) is most likely more pragmatic than a Republican man four times her age (the one she beat for example). She definitely couldn’t do any worse than older Republican men.

But back to my point about voting for anyone that says ‘guns’…..>immense grin<….. you guys elected a seventeen year old girl that’s still in high school. I love it.

You might want to fact check before you run your piehole. If you don't you will come across as a bigger dumba$$ than you are. This girls father for one once held this office and was very popular. Now for the biggie the guy she was running against was proposing to give the eastern panhandle of the state back to Virginia. The voters were smart enough to vote at least for someone with their best interests at heart. They sure were a lot smarter than any liberal dumba$$ like yourself that grabs the first tidbit of information they get and run with it.

Proof that the Tea Party (which has taken over the Republican Party) elected a seventeen year old school girl?

The proof is in that you elected her.

She's now the Repubican candidate in West Virginia. Did I mention how you fruitloops can be soooo funny.

But the spooky part of it is that it shows the Tea Party will vote for anyone (anyone at all) without knowing who it is as long as the person says key words such as 'guns'.

Update: An earlier version of this post incorrectly identified the Hagerstown Herald-Mail.
Saira Blair will graduate from a West Virginia high school later this month. She posts photos of her smoothie habit on Instagram, volunteers at the Martinsburg VA hospital and helps raise money for the Make-a-Wish foundation. She will not be eligible to vote until July.
But on Tuesday, she beat a sitting state delegate who was seeking a third term in office.
With all 13 precincts in her Martinsburg-area district reporting, Blair beat state Del. Larry Kump (R) by an 872-728 vote margin.
Blair campaigned on an antiabortion, pro-Second Amendment platform, offering her cellphone number to constituents and pledging not to go negative. She spent about $4,800 on her campaign, state finance records show (Kump, a former lobbyist, only spent $1,800 on his reelection bid).
“I think I’m fully capable of doing the job, and I don’t think it’s rocket science by any means — not if you just listen to the people,” Blair told the Hagerstown Herald-Mail this week.
She’s no stranger to politics, either: Blair’s father, Craig, is a West Virginia state senator. And despite being ineligible to vote for herself in the primary, she will be 18 in two months, meaning she’ll be old enough to vote in November, and to serve when the legislature reconvenes next year.

Blair will face Democratic nominee Layne Diehl in November, and she’s the favorite: Mitt Romney took nearly two-thirds of the vote in her district, according to a breakdown by the liberal DailyKos blog.
If she wins, Blair will balance her new legislative duties with another set of responsibilities: She will begin college this fall at West Virginia University. Safe to guess she’ll be the only member of the freshman class with a vote in the legislature.

Possible. After all, she beat an established experienced Republican that has previously held that office. It comes down to that Tea Party members will vote for campaign signs (which say things like guns and God) and not for the person running (who they really are). In this case this type Tea Party craziness resulted in a seventeen year old high school girl becoming the Republican candidate.

ok you've said the same thing now in every post you've made..... move on and bring some true facts to the table.... as a woman I would think you would see this as being positive. who are you to jump to conclusions that shes unable to preform at he state level.....how about you put aside your politics and be happy that a 17 year old woman is doing something positive instead of drugs or drinking like most 17 year olds do ....sounds to me like she has a bright future....

She has no facts.Ive done tried that route with her.Ive researched the claim she ran on a joke and it was a BS lie.The Republican she beat wanted to give the Eastern Panhandle of Wv back to Virginia. The girls dad has been in politics for years so no she wasn't a nobody.
Before the libs pull a story out of their a$$ they really should research it first.

Of course I'm going to repeat it. You fruitloops elected a high school student as your candidate for the Legislature (you know, a lawmaker).

There not much else which can be said for something like that ..... unless I use the word 'moronic', which I would never do being the good girl that I am.
