To this "sign up" fellow:

1) I'm not very sure if you have noticed, but you're kind of talking to yourself a bit. The way conversations work is that you express an idea, wait for a response, and then express either a counteracted response or an new idea. You just keep posting. That's odd/borderline socially retarded.

2) If you haven't noticed, the purpose behind this discussion is to talk about how dreamy his eyes are, if he's still banging his hott a** lifeguard girlfriend, and if anyone knew his name. Don't steal his thunder. You're stealing his thunder. You're clearly a hardcore, homegrown, redneck 'murcan. Any good 'murcan knows that you don't steal a mans thunder. If you can't compliment him without the fear of sounding gay (and heaven forbid that ever happened in Pikeville), then just go clean your double barrel shotgun and smack your cousin on the ass another good time. Or your sister, whichever floats your boat.

Ok, look. I completely understand what you're trying to convey. Government(s) can be evil entities. Political leaders with self ambition are in the same category and the most probable cause. The point that D is trying to make is this, "We don't care." When you sign a contract, in this day and age especially, there are no secrets. There are no recruiter man, Jedi mind tricks. If we say one thing to an applicant, and they go home and research it and find it false, what good does that do? Now they knows me as a liar and so will all their friends. Recruiting duty has come a long way, even since I've came in 8 years ago. There's no point in lying. You're just screwing yourself.
Now, to say that we all are pretty much ignorant to the impact PTSD has on a service member, their family and unit. That, itself, is iignorant. Take that how you will. No one cares more about troop welfare that your brothers in arms. Sit down and hold a grown man, a warrior by any standards, as he balls his eyes out over things he can't get out of his head. Listen to his perils of daily life. Experience it yourself first hand. Then turn on the news and learn about what budgets are getting cut. No one on this planet, can come close to the level of care about that topic than service members and vets. Those are our brother's and sisters. I said this before, its about them. I put on my uniform everyday for the Marines of past and present. Never leave a man behind. That phrase holds true even while here state side. It's a family, we don't sit back and watch the ones we love go through hell and not do a thing about it. We're professionals. We've earned our honor through discipline. And we practice that as it is a religion. This world is not perfect, and neither is this country. But it takes people willing to stand up, with intelligent ideas and firm judgement to make positive changes. Name calling and finger pointing does nothing. It shows only that you're trying to strike a nerve to provoke reaction. Just let it be. We get it.
Semper Fi. Devildog! As a former Marine, I was recruited out of the Pikeville office a little before your time (1983-84) My recruiter never promised me a damn thing except the opportunity to completely change my life. The rest was up to me and Corps. Best decision I ever made. Ohh Rah!!

Semper Fidelis, sir. Same thing for me. I was told it'll be the hardest thing you'll ever do. But at the end, you'll walk across that parade deck a United States Marine. Haven't looked back since. There are dark days, for sure. But as Marines, we push though.

The military is downsizing, and servicemen are getting kicked out for dumb sh!t so we can make room.for more boots. Good Marines getting the ban hammer for dumb asses, in my time the quality of a Marine went down a lot, it also seems a little unprofessional/unbecoming to see a NCO on topic, but hey, I was a terminal lance.#gruntlife.
