Oh, a Mud Creature and one of the offspring, feeling so low about being the prodigy of the only entertainment Mud Creek ever had aside from cross breeding with hogs. To bad the free clinic closed up there, you could have got your skanky azz cleaned up!

Let it be known....to err is human....all these perfect people on here.....Did you ever think that Marlow may have spent his money also in helping others....I for one like Marlow have a great big heart when it comes to caring for others....better to give than receive.... I am not rich but would have a lot more if not for giving to others....but I have what the Lord intended for me to have now and I feel blessed....not going to take it with us.....let the man R.I.P.....I have found out though when you are down and out where are those who really care for you or was just there when they needed you.....

At "The day in the park" in Allen years ago Marlow was a tough ace to follow for some country stars.

great song. I'm not swept away like so many people by his celebrity or his charity. he seems to have milked the whole mountain santa for all it was worth. it helped him garner fame. the man's reputation was a mixed bag. I assume his motives were too. I think it goes to show that charity and being famous in a small town can go a long way, considering how people tend to be more forgiving on him for the fact he did charity for children and is a little famous than they would be on the next person for the same kind of faults. I think he was just a regular guy with his share of faults that got away with more than most of us would ever be allowed. this song is great. classical country sound and lyrics. real country music. it's upbeat, tacky in a good way and funny. I'm honestly impressed. I figure marlow was just a regular person with real talent. I loved the song and the way he sung it. I think alot us went to the palace when it was a shell of it's former self. we mostly went to drink and get some. you could bring your own beer. didn't have to buy over priced drinks from the bar because there wasn't a bar. just keep it under the table, don't flaunt it and nobody said anything. I would have loved to visited marlow's when the big names used to play there. real country music singers played at marlow's before my time, not like the manufactured country music that is all over the place now. I doubt there will ever be another person around here like him. he was a product of a another time. the good ole days are long gone.

What's 50 feet long and just has one tooth? The line to get in down at Marlow's. Uneducated rednecks spending their pay trying to get drunk and get laid instead of on their kids. All the drunks hitting the roads at closing time and getting pulled 2 miles up or down the road from the Palace. A real Money Maker for Pikeville at one time. The bouncers breaking someone's head out in the parking lot, 2 drunk hillbilly's fighting over the same whore, yes fine times bro's. Let's hoist a few and drink a toast to the patron saint of Mud Creek. No they will never be another Country Palace "Marlow's Dine and Duck".....THANK GOD

You all talk about how he helped people. What did he ever do? All the food and toys /clothes were donated. Are u people really that stupid? He hosted those giveaways and turned it in on his taxes. Not one penny came from him!!!! And do you think he pays child support on ALL those kids he had? NO!!! All he is and was is a dirty ole man fooling with every young girl that he could get his hands on. I was so glad to see him leave pikeville. Where he owes hundreds of thousands of back taxes and other bills.
Granted all the things were donated, however I didnt see anyone else trying to help the less fortunate that live in our area......I'm not sure what you mean by ALL those kids considering there are only 11 of us....yes I said us as I am his daughter and I know all 10 of these brothers and sisters I share and I can tell you there was no need for child support considering all I had to do was ask daddy for ANYTHING i needed and he never let me down....Not sure where your information comes from but didn't you mother ever tell you that you shouldn't believe everything you hear????

By "all those kids", they undoubtedly mean the illegitimate ones. I know of at least 3 who were his that didn't get his last name. That's why he started that Christmas tradition, to make sure all his kids, claimed or otherwise, had something to open on December 25. Nice fella. RIP. Bless his heart, and all.

actually I wasn't given his last name at my mothers decision but once I got old enough to make decisions for myself i changed it with him standing beside me beaming with pride... but the entire time my last name was Henson, he never failed to be there for me...as for your ridiculous claim that the christmas party was started so that all his kids would have presents to open check your facts honey the party was started in 1975 before all these so called kids were born..not to mention I was always taken out to pick what I wanted out for Christmas and never once did it come from this Christmas program nor did any prom dress, picture, school trip, vacation, or any of the other thousands of items he bought me or gave me the money to buy.....I never knew of one sibling that my father was aware of that he didnt participate in their lives if they didnt reach out to him that is not his fault...I think it is sad that people can sit back and judge him for this and that but refuse to acknowledge the fact there are thousands of children that wouldnt have had a christmas without this program, people want to focus on the negative and ignore the positive....I am proud to have had 34 years with my father and can only hope to help half the people that he did!!!!!

I know that my father had more class than people who would feel the need to still degrade a man who was no longer on this Earth out of respect for that persons family.....This is a extraordinarily difficult time for my family including my children (who by the way are internet smart) and just ask, that people would consider things beyond their need to put garbage out there or some age old grudge...Hopefully each and every one of you do not go through this process for as long as possible......

You people on here should be ashamed getting on hear trashing someone who has just passed away. The bible speaks of speaking ill of the dead and no one has the right to judge anyone only God has that right. HAVE SOME RESPECT THE MAN HASN'T EVEN BEEN BURIED YET LET THE FAMILY MOURN. Oh I forgot its Pike County no one can stay out of anyone elses business instead of their own.
