Did Infamous go out of business or just relocating? I know they were pricey but not any other options for authentic racing apparel around Pikeville....

With all the miners laid off I look for wal mart to go belly up. Ppl dont have a clue the money generated by our coal. They are soon gonna figure it out though.

Wally world might feel the pinch. Doubt it will go out of business. People don't realize just how dependent this area is on coal jobs. Parking lots are less crowded.no $$$.every business is feeling the hurt.I'd say the foodstamp office is booming.

I never went into the store but with them out of business it means there won't be any more TV commercials with that extremely hot and gorgeous brunette girl nearly naked on. I miss those she is one of the prettiest women I have ever laid eyes on.

On another nite, it's another hit to our local economy.

it really is a hit when any store goes out of business, but the leaders of this county need to recognize the types of business that would prosper here
there are no activities for the young people
and yes coal is taking a big hit
we see how smaller towns and cities have become ghost towns when those jobs died
and we will see it happen more to our bigger towns

Lol, coal jobs may be a big part of this town, but this town wasn't the one hit so bad with layoffs. You all crack me up...anything that goes out of business around here, you are so quick to say its because of coal jobs. No it's not...Infamous was just too pricey. Too many people around here live on a budget and can't afford expensive things. I agree, we need a target. Something that can compete with Walmart prices. But then again, if its true what Walmart workers say about not being able to find enough cashiers that can pass a drug test, then it will be the same with a new store.

This town wont go belly up from losing coal jobs, we have upike and the medical center generating insane money from crappy service and overpriced education. haha
