Share bands that are either all instrumental or just an instrumental
song from a band, whichever you choose. I have an awesome, talented
band to start this thread off with...

" Rivers Dancing " - Gordian Knot

The next band balances between mostly instrumental music but at times has used a vocalist, as matter of fact they recently announced that the son of one of The Kinks ' Davies Bros. was now their official singer ( he sings for his own band Year Long Disaster ) but here his new band without him yet, lol

" 20 " - Karma To Burn

This next song is one of the most well known instrumental tracks of all time but instead of the
original version from the Edgar Winter Group I prefer
this cover from thrashers Overkill :

" Frankenstein " - Overkill

Yeah, I agree OverKill nailed that one. I love both versions though.

Same here, man. Where have you been lately? Not seen ya around the forums. Anyway, good to see you. Overkill are getting ready to make another run at a U.S. Tour and I hope to catch them. I have only seen them once before and it was the tour for their
" Horrorscope " album so you know how long ago that's been. Anyway, on to the music..Here's some tracks from one of the Kings of Instrumentals, Joe Satriani :

" Satch Boogie " -

" Always With Me, Always With You " -

" Sleep Walk " ( live )-

I'm a big fan of a Metal genre called " Sludge ". It
is usually slow or mid - tempo with heavy, muddied down tuning and a lot of fuzz and feedback. I found a
band recently that is an instrumental Sludge band
( they do use sampled vocal parts at times but no actual vocalist ) and here's a track from them..

" Impending Doom " Black Tar Prophet

Cool, I'll check it out. I saw you all are playing in Louisville tomorrow night. Unfortunately my friends in Hail!Hornet and The Gates Of Slumber are in Johnson City, TN. Sat. and I have to head over there for that gig but keep me posted on your progress and any further dates.
